The Maternal Instincts Mysteries Special Collection: Bundle of Trouble, Motherhood is Murder, Formula for Murder: 1 Paperback – 12 June 2021

The series starts off with prenatal Kate, just about to give birth, learning that her brother-in-law is possibly dead. The author walks the reader through the emotions and actions of a new mom coupled with the character's struggle to find out what happened to her husband's brother. After solving that case, Kate ultimately decides she wants to work from home with her newborn and become a private investigator, never mind that she has no license, no experience or clients. Rather surprisingly, her family and friends support Kate's endeavors, even when she puts herself at risk. Kate's devotion to her baby and her determination to be a private investigator create some laughable moments. Many new moms will relate to Kate's endless to-do lists and her problems adjusting to her post-partum body.

Love these cosy mysteries as you never know until the end who done it. These are great because she is juggling motherhood with trying to have a career. Funny throughout.

I would recommend them to anyone. Fast paced, believable enough, funny, sometimes scary. In my opinion, the perfect length (250 pages). And who doesn't want to be a PI sometimes?

This was great fun to read.

Fast paced read, my favorite. Her mouth gets her in trouble but she always got her man in the end. Characters are easy to relate to and just enough Info on location to visualize. I enjoyed all three stories.
