The sheets I received are very rough, they contain fabric runs and burs. They did not have Mayfair labels nor any label saying they are 800 ct. They are not the sheets shown or reviewed on the site which I purchased. Very unsatisfied and the company refused to let me return sheets, only will offer 50% back...buyer beware!

I went through many purchases and returns of sheets (it's nearly impossible to determine which are good with all the varying reviews). However I got lucky and these sheets are it!!First of, they are genuinely soft. And I'm obsessed with soft. So not soft kind-of, but legitimately soft and sateen feeling. The color is rich and vibrant. And the sheets have a nice thick, hotel feeling (but not super thick, I'd say medium thick). I live in SoCal so if they were to thick I'd probably sweat to death.The pockets are very deep and it engulfs my 13" memory foam mattress. It stays cool, keeps warm and feels like heaven. From somebody who searched high and low for soft, hotel like sheets I can say these are it.

These sheets are of good quality at a reasonable price. I was expecting them to be softer due to the thread count, but overall a good purchase.UPDATE: These sheets have not held up well after just a few washings. They have shrunk and have little "balls" from wear. I no longer recommend these sheets

Everything about this product is a LIE! It is NOT 100 percentage Egyptian cotton, my 30 dollar sheets are softer than this. Also "deep pockets" no. Advertises it fits 18 in. I have a 16 inch mattress and it doesn't even fit that. Its too small. Sheet came out from under the bed as soon as we crawled in. Also states it comes with pillow cases which mine did not. Do NOT buy this product. I expect to get my money back.

I purchased both this (Mayfair) and the popular Comfy 800 thread count Egyptian Cotton sheets also being sold on Amazon for a similar price. As I'm comparing the two products and found them nearly identical, I'm leaving a similar review to warn other consumers to avoid this product.I was surprised to see, the packaging is remarkably similar, and the fabric and even the top stitching is identical in appearance and feel. The seal of authenticity is also identical, yet it does not match the actual Egyptian Cotton Association's seal, which I looked up because I couldn't figure out how a authentic product could so obviously miss the markers of quality for which the Egyptian Cotton fibre is known.This is not 800 thread count; it's much too thin. This is not Egyptian Cotton; the hand (or feel) is much too rough.The packaging says both "100% Cotton" and "Egyptian Cotton" but it is neither. I've worked with textiles as a career, and I warn you to avoid this listing as fraudulent. You would be better of buying a 400 thread count "long fiber" cotton sheet as it more likely will be accurately listed since it doesn't seek the premium price attached to authentic Egyptian Cotton. As you can see, I looked up the seal of authenticity from the actual Egyptian Cotton association, and it differs markedly from what's found in the sheet set.I'm surprised Amazon does not more carefully check sellers for authentic products. I'm sure these are nice sheets and would suffice, however they are not what they are advertised to be. Avoid wasting your time and money. This seller is not honest and replied to my inquiry that I must be mistaken, that they could not replace the product I received that does not meet my expectations as all of their products are this quality.It seems this misrepresentation is deliberate, and I urge Amazon to delist this seller (Mayfair) and the seemingly related seller, Comfy.

Sheets out of packaging had an unpleasant smell. Once through the wash, and they were nice and fresh. They don't wash up wrinkle free but are fine as far as being smooth, at least for me. Color did not seem to fade during 1st wash - these are navy - so it is too early to tell if this will be an issue. A fair amount of navy lint on dryer screen after 1st drying. These sheets aren't heavy but they are not lightweight either. Comfy sleeping. Fitted sheet fits our 14"+ deep mattress fine and without excess sheet folds. If mattress were 16" deep, I don't think the sheets would fit. Top sheet seems a little short or sides compared to other sheet sets I have, but it is fine. I am happy with this purchase and navy sheets are hard to find, so I am especially pleased with these.

I highly doubt this is Egyptian cotton. No where on original packaging does it say Egyptian cotton. Says 100 percent cotton and that’s it. Two places it says look like they were added after. One cheap sticker on front and a tag inside that’s been slipped in after the fact, only placard on back that says it’s Egyptian cotton has been colour copied and it’s not even a match to the front for colour. Probably decent cotton sheets but I’ve almost positive I’ve been ripped off. Stay away.

Updated: the seller will contact you to offer free extra pillowcases but have no intention of providing them. They just want to get you to write a review. You can contact them again and again. They will respond but will never take action.Original review (3 stars):Definitely deep pocketMake sure to wash before use: they smell odd, almost like military plastic. Your might even want to wash them a second time to be sure that you get the smell out.Otherwise the sheets are fine. They aren't exceptional. I don't know if they are Egyptian cotton but they are labeled as such. The pillowcases fit our pillows nicely. The colour is as expected.

I am generally a pretty patient person and very amicable when it comes to sheets. First of all I am obsessed with sheets as of late and have bought several sets to try out. Out of the 4-5 sets, these by far are the worst. I was gearing for sheets for summer and sheets for winter. The winter ones would be of a higher thread coat for softness, and a bit of warmth, and the summer ones percale. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to leave them in the package as my husband already opened the package and washed them. These feel very polyester and scratchy. I can deal with a bit of scratchy as they usually soften up with frequent washings, but these are still scratchy. There are no way these are 100% cotton. Maybe 5%? I have bought sets $50 cheaper then these that were very lovely. So hopefully somehow I can get some form of a refund. So buyer beware! Don't fall into the trap!

I love the color and the softness of the sheets, but i find that they slip off the bed fairly easily, I think that the elastic on the fitted sheets should be tighter so that you are not constantly pulling them back into place.

I don’t know why all these reviews say the sheets are soft, as I’ve had much softer sheets in the past. After reading the reviews, I had hight expectations, so I am disapointed with this product.
