Love this for my kiddo, he's 2 and we are learning more about our motor skills and correlation of actions, he is very entertained by pressing the button when there is no card there. He does so good with it, and its nice as it does not require batteries, instead you just have to charge it!

only been a few days of usage. the item, so far, is meeting expectations to use with my grand nephew who is a toddler learning to speak.

It works as described, but the cards bend easily and there is no way they'd be considered waterproof as stated. The device itself is small and I know if it's dropped once or twice it will break, unless it's on carpet or something. It's really cheap plastic. This is something you couldn't just hand your child to play with and expect it to survive whatsoever, unless it was an older child. Toddlers would demolish this thing! I'll keep it but I had higher hopes on quality, at least on the cards themselves. I'm sure by the time she learns to insert the cards, they'll need to be replaced. They should've made them like the books with plastic pages.

My grandson is speech delayed and loves this toy. Good for manual dexterity also

The media could not be loaded.  This is such a cool learning tool for my kiddos ! Its really neat and easy to use. There are 112 cards with 224 words(double sided) There are different themes on the cards, 12 in all. Example; animals, vehicles, fruits, shapes, etc.When you place the card in the reader it makes a realistic animal and car simulation sounds (or other themed noise) and reads the word. It's great as a toy and to help new readers learn words and language! My kiddo had been really interested and it's such a good way to teach site words . Very cool!

It seems to be ok so far. But I was expecting it to be a bit bigger so that even the child can hold it and get the feeling it’s a bit like a tablet or small iPad. This fits the palm of an adult hand only
