Fast little Switch!
1 month in and the switch is working well. Previously my main 1GB switch started jittering packets and i wanted to upgrade my network to 2.5GB and had a few servers that supported 10GB so this let me swap everything from a 1GB network to 2.5GB with 10GB throughput for my NAS and Server. It runs hot, so i keep it stood on its side, but i wish there was a little stand to help keep it up right. may just 3M it to the side of the server stack.Connectivity has been flawless and im getting full 2.5GB performance internally to my network and serve more connections to my NAS and Server than any one person can max out now without needing to fiddle with bonding.

The Switch That Got Hot (A Networking Tale)
I needed a switch that was fast,With ten gigs of speed unsurpassed. So I ordered this TrendNet,A fine switch, and yet—It heated up quick! What a blast! It sat on my desk, horizontal,Its temperature: quite monumental! The heatsink, you see,Needs air to be free,But convection requires the vertical! So I flipped the thing up on its side,With the heatsink on top (what a ride!)The power jack low,The hot air could flow,And twenty degrees Fahrenheit died! Now some folks might say, "That's not stable!"But I printed some feet—I was able!(Or use rubber bumps,Adhesive, not lumps,To prop up this switch on your table.)It works as it should, fast and true,Does everything I need it to do.Just remember this tale:When your switch starts to fail,Turn it sideways! That's all you must do!So if you're considering this switch,(It's affordable—won't make you twitch),Just know it runs hot,But that matters not—Stand it up and you've conquered the glitch!𝗕𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲: Good switch. Runs hot. Turn it sideways. Problem solved.

Great value.
Works great. Simple to setup and use. We have 5GB Fiber internet and this was perfect for making the most of that.

It's an unmanaged network switch
I needed (2) 10G ports and the rest of my network is 2.5g. This fit the bill perfectly! It's easy to set up, like any other unmanaged switch.

Great switches so far.
Been in production for 2 weeks. In combination with asus be19000 wireless router the network is more responsive. 10gb ports are used to interface between router lan and the second 10gb ports are used for in-home backbone.Haven't had the opportunity to test 2.5gb ports since im waiting for new nic cards since the usb 2.5gb ethernet adapters failed to connect at 2.5 gb. The throughput results were 200mb per sec.... im a trend net fan. I have had a great experience with the 1gb switches ... never had an issue with performance nor quality. Therefore only expect great performance from these new switches. I will follow up in a few weeks with throughput tests using 1gbs edge computers.

Solid device!
Decent little switch for multi-gig port expansion. Throughput tests out at about 1.6 GB/sec in my setup. Odd behavior when testing bidirectional throughput, where upstream return path is comparatively slow (150 MB/sec) but this could be due to external factors.

Tried and tue, these are a great value
I've been using TRENDnet products for years and have never had any of their products fail. So, I took a look at upgrading my home network to 2.5Gb Ethernet. For the price, I thought I was getting a 2x10Gb and 4x2.5Gb switch. I was wrong, its 6x10Gb!I have 2.5Gb Fiber internet. My TP-Link router only has one (1) 2.5Gb port so unless I was flooding my network with large file transfers across the internet, 1.5gb upstream and downstream was wasted. Enter this switch. Well, two of them. I built a PFSense managed firewall due to constant attempted network attacks. I built a machine with two (2) 2.5Gb ethernet cards. My Fiber Optical Network Terminal (ONT) connects to the PFSense Firewall, then from there it connects to one (1) of these switches. I have a Synology Rackstation, and a wireless accesspoint for my cameras connected in the basement with a link upstairs to my office where it's connected to the second switch. I have my TP Link router connected, a Mac Studio M2 Max, an Xbox Series X and a gaming PC plugged into the switch, and the rest of the traffic is through a double NAT via the TP Link wireless gaming router.Performance-wise, all devices connected directly to these switched get a full 2.5Gb connection. Even testing multiple devices at the same time nets nearly the same speed. Now I have no wasted bandwidth and room to grow up to 10Gb/s.These are a must have, especially for local network transfers. I can transfer a 40GB file from one machine to another in less that a couple minutes at 2.5Gb/s - I can't wait to get 10Gb devices to utilize that speed. These are silent, stay cool, and the power draw is light. I highly recommend these switches.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Speed Demon in a Tiny Black Suit
If switches had personalities, the TRENDnet TEG-S762 would be that quiet genius in the corner who casually solves complex equations while sipping coffee—except instead of math, it's solving your bandwidth bottlenecks with style. With 4 x 2.5G ports and 2 x 10G ports, this little beast is like the Swiss Army knife of networking. It’s compact, wall-mountable, and doesn’t scream for attention—until you see it move data at 60Gbps switching capacity. That’s not just fast; that’s “blink and your file’s already there” fast.Setup? Easy. It’s practically plug-and-play. And with lifetime protection, it’s like TRENDnet is saying, “We’ve got your back… forever.” I half expected it to come with a cape.Whether you're upgrading your home lab, office setup, or just want to feel like a network wizard, this switch delivers. And let’s be honest—having a 10G port in your setup feels a bit like owning a sports car. You might not need it every day, but when you do… oh boy.Verdict: Fast, reliable, and surprisingly charming for a piece of networking gear. Just don’t let it know you’re still using a 1G router—it might judge you.

Intermittent throughput collapse
Intermittent throughput collapse under sustained LAN transfers; speed drops from multi-gigabit rates to KB/s or 0 B/s across multiple devices and cables, while the same setup is stable on another switch.

Empfehlenswert und macht was es soll
Läuft jetzt schon mehrere Monate stabil und macht seinen Job.

Collegato ad una FTTH 10Gb TIM
Collegato ad una FTTH 10Gb TIM con un cavo Cat7 riesce a ripartire la rete sulle porte a 2.5 Gb anche su cavi Cat5e

Good 10Gbe switch for home use
Nothing wrong about it. Gets a bit warm but with 10Gbe it’s expected.

chauffe un peu mais les aérations sont suffisante pour évacuer la chaleur
Il chauffe, mais c'est normal, la qualité est parfaite comme prévu, ne pas oublié de mettre les petit autocollant sinon il ne va pas évacué la chaleur correctement
