The best budget electronic headset out there
Love the Howard Leight Impact Sports. I've had my original set for about 5 years now, and they still work great. Even left them out on the rain one weekend, but somehow they still work. That was about 2 years ago.Sound quality is excellent. Have some friend that prefer the Walker Razors, so I tried them. No comparison. With the Impact Sports you can actually tell where the sound is coming from, and they sound natural. The Walkers, you can't tell the direction of the sound, and the sound it provides is mechanical, meaning it sounds like your are listening through a headset. The Impact Sports, the sound is so natural, I don't even notice I'm using a headset.Pro Tip: Buy the gel cups. You'll thank yourself.

Great product if you enjoy being annoyed to death
The media could not be loaded. To start I would like to say that I wanted very much to like this product and to give it a good review but I simply can't. I loved the idea of having a pair of these rugged and durable shooting earmuffs to use as everyday headphones because I thought It was a cool idea but the number of issues with practicality that I have faced have been positively maddening. The connectivity issues I have with these are endless. When trying to connect these headphones to a device they do the most random and unpredictable behaviors. It will sound a beep through the headphones as if it connected but display on the phone/device that it is still trying to connect, then when it eventually connects it often only partially connects. Typically on my device when it is fully connected it will say "active, 100% battery" but sometimes it will only say "active" or "100% battery" and then randomly disconnect. Below I attached a screen recorded video of me attempting to get these things to connect for a solid 9 minutes without any success until the very end.If you can put up with this, then that's good because I certainly can't.An important note is that these issues seemed to have worsened over the second half of its life as I have been using them, I have had them for about one year at this point and it is at its worst right now. It should also be noted that as of about two months ago these things had not sustained any damage or adverse treatment and we're still displaying the same issues. The video was taken right around the beginning of the two month period.Overall disappointed with how poorly these things obtain and maintain the connection they were designed to facilitate. There's always a part of me that thinks "you had one job" every time it screws up lol.

Not expensive.
Very thin. Which is great. A little difficult to pair. Sometimes it unpairs itself.

These are really good. Fast cutoff. Low profile for rifles.
These are really good. Fast cutoff. Low profile for rifles. The earlier versions were good. These are great. Product description is totally true. I have used these for 2 years. Not a problem. The charge lasts a long time. I use them at least twice a week. Or more. For hours....Retired and shoot a lot.

Great Muffs!
I have 3 other pairs of Howard Leight Impact Sports, but when I saw they came out with Bluetooth, I had to get them. They work great, just like I knew they would!

I shouldn't need to charge my earpro with my phone every night.
Have had these about a year and have had almost nothing but problems with them.Sound reduction response is fine, on par with the Bolts (which appear to be discontinued), and in that regard they do work. When they piece of expensive junk works...I've had original Howard Leight Impacts, and a set of bolts, and both were amazing. If I forgot to turn them off, they'd shut off and save the juice in my AAAs. They'd also work for AGES on one set of batteries. I maybe changed the batteries once a year in both of those sets.Enter the "must be plugged into a charger" bluetooth model. These exhibit parasitic battery drain. Something isn't shutting off, and I can't even leave these in my truck between range sessions. They WILL be dead when I put them on and go to shoot. The battery life is also on the lifespan of a couple of hours, tops. They've died, fresh off the charger, before I finished a single day of shooting (less than 6 hours). They finally completely quit today, and apparently won't accept a charge at all. I'll be tracking down a set of Impacts without the requirement for a charger from now on. Supremely disappointed, considering I payed 125$ for these when I bought them on February last year.

Not calibrated correctly
The pair I got don’t seem to be calibrated correctly. The left ear will mute if someone talks too loud. I don’t know if there is a way to calibrate them.
