Recover Tactical PCH17 Slide Mounted Optic Rail with Rack Assist for Glock 17/19, All Generations, No Modifications Required

I don’t write reviews at all, but I had to correct a user error. Don’t blame the product, blame the user that doesn’t know how to properly use something. I’m glad I purchased this product before “I can’t figure out” wrote his review or I wouldn’t of bought this product.The picture with the vortex red dot is a Glock 17 Gen3. The PCH17 charging handle covers all the serration on the slide, so you’ll have to pull the slide further back behind the handle to install it. If not then you have to completely remove the slide to attach the PCH17.Everyone knows that the front of a Glock has very little spacing so when placing the slide back on with the PCH17 you have to get the correct angle to slide it back on..it’s the same angle as you would with without the PCH17 charging handle installed.The picture with the Burris red dot is a Glock 41 Gen4. As you can see the slide goes past the handle, so no need to remove the slide to install the PCH17. Again this charging handle covers all the serration on the slide for better stability while having extra weight on the charging handle and slide.This PCH17 fits my Glock 41 Gen4 even though the description says it doesn’t and even the website says it don’t either. The width of the slide was the exact same as my Glock 17 gen3. I’m not 100% sure if this is the same for all gen4 glock slides to be the exact width of a gen3 Glock. But in my case my the g41 gen4 was the exact same width.This PCH17 will not fit a Glock 22 gen5 because the width of the slide is slightly wider by a few mm.I can not confirm for other gen5 models nor the gen5 g17 either since I don’t own that hardware.This PCH17 charging handle with the picatinny rail is far superior than any other sight removal picatinny rail. No added tools to remove the sight and it’s rock solid stable on the hardware. If you want to add a red dot to your hardware that is not cut for a red dot..this is the way to go for a Glock.Recoil from hardware puts a lot of strain on aftermarket parts which causes a lot of failure. To avoid bolts, screws, or anything holding your aftermarket part from loosening. Apply some blue loctite and don’t over tighten. A torq screwdriver works wonders also if you don’t want to damage your hardware and aftermarket parts.

I like these products and have a few of them. Fits g19 easily, but can’t use an iwb holster with it on it.

It actually makes it easier to rack the slide. I have a full size Glock 17 and it fits perfect. Even my wife and daughter are able to rack it without effort. The only drawback is that widens the back of the slide and makes it a little harder for concealed carry, but it definitely works perfect.

The fact that it is so simple and easy to put on. Literally took me 30 seconds and done it was on. It feels super durable with absolutely no wiggle room. I mean it fits like a glove on my glock 19 gen Gen 4. I highly recommend this especially if you don't want to spend money on a new slide.

Since Amazon had an issue with my first review which was a standard "What I like about it and what I dont" I'll just say it works. The people at Amazon need to stop being so sensitive. You sell VERY questionable stuff on this site yet MY review can't be posted? Now watch because I said the above statement this won't get posted either.

It fits real good it does not wiggle it's not loose and it doesn't make a sound when you shake it so it's on their tight
