Great device - looks good and does what it says on the tin.....
The unit appears well made and was simple to set-up. No mains power lead is supplied (there is a reliance on you re-using one of the IEC cables you previously have in your set-up). Two interconnect cables are provided which is useful, however I needed to buy two more cables independently as there are 4 UPS outlets. The kit (when first installed) takes around 4 hours to reach 100% battery power and is silent in operation. If the power goes down then the battery kicks in pretty much instantaneously and it is only then when you get a significant increase in noise and a beeping sound to inform that the UPS is in operation (which can be silenced). I connected my UPS via USB to my computer and I can see power usage and set up various functions such as whether I want my computer to safely shut down in the event of loss of power. Instructions to use this software are average but workable. Registering is a nightmare and I've not managed to do it as the website is a mix of Italian and English and some options simply don't appear to work, feels a bit unfinished. In summary, good looking and slim device (but weighs about 10kg), quiet in normal operation. In tests it worked effectively and apparently it will give me around 20 minutes of backup power in the event of an issue (I have a hefty gaming PC, External SSD Drive, External HDD drive and a NAS server all connected up). So, good purchase for the money and worth it for piece of mind that power interruptions will be less likely to destroy my PC or data.

Dangerous - Dangerous - Dangerous
Do not buy under any circumstance. As a few other users have complained about, the battery in ours failed after 14 months and this was a very light load : router + Mesh Wi-Fi system. But that is not the worse of it. We decided to open the UPS because when a UPS fails we simply buy a replacement battery and that has always done the job. Shockingly when we opened this one the battery had leaked everywhere inside the UPS. This is D.A.N.G.E.R.O.U.S - I won't mince my words, your house could go up in flames with this device. To understand how bad this is : all battery UPSs are supposed to be leak-proof batteries, for obvious safety reasons. It gets worse : Tecnoware has its own range of UPS batteries but, guess what : they do not use them in their own UPSs - instead it's a literally no-name battery that is inside these UPSs. No name whatsoever. When I bought this UPS, 14 months ago, it's rating was 4.5 on Amazon - it is now 3.8. Do the maths, and read what I have just written : do NOT buy this dangerous short-lasting UPS, do NOT buy this brand - stick to the CyberPower, APC, PowerWalker, UPSs.I am now off to buy three of the above to replace the three Tecnoware I bought 12 to 14 months ago.

It works
Handy bit of kit, no more hand winding the garage door when there has been a blip in the power

Excellent UPS
Things to knowIts so easy to set up but it needs a power lead to plug it into the wall it doesn't come with one but you can cut the end of one of the leads and wire a standard 3 pin plug on it if you are capablePurchase an extension lead that plugs into the ups outlet with standard 3 pin plug set up they are about £3 on amazonOnce the unit is plugged in press the select button on the front (up and down arrows) switch to ac mode the unit will be noisy as it charges up the battery and may take 3 hoursRemove the protective film from the display it will look blurry. Once the unit is charged it is totally silent . The small graph on the display shows the load with what you have connectedThis unit is very good in the fact it switches to a true sine wave output which won't damage your sensitive equipment like a PC or a console and nothing screws stuff up like a power cut during a firmware update.. Most other ups use a simulated sine wave output which can cause some equipment to fail but not this unit..

Software issues
Wouldn't connect to my Windows 11 PC after installing the UPS software. When I restarted my PC to see if would resolve the issue, my RTX 4080 graphics card had an error code, after several failed attempts of reinstalling drivers I removed the UPS software, I could re install my RTX 4080 drivers. Retuned the UPS as not compatible with my set up, will look at other options. The device looks well built and would have happily used it if not for the above problem.to help this my set upAMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor 4.2 GHzASUS Prime X670 E wifi mother boardZotac RTX 4080 super32 GB DDR5 Tforce ram
