Great for "bottling" wine
These are great. Easily "bottle" a 6-gallon batch of wine. Big mark-up from their wholesale prices online, but I'm not prepared to buy 300 of them. Passed the info to my local beer and wine making supply store and hoping they will begin carrying them at a better price. I did not buy the additional tool used to insert the tap into bag. I instead created my own from a 4"PVC coupler and a 1 1/8" step drill bit. Worked well. The taps have a safety seal on them, but I had to break to seal to open the tap and remove air from the bag after filling. All-in-all I am very pleased with these.

A lot easier than bottling!
I make wine and beer and I hate bottling! These bags/boxes are very easy to use and are equivalent to 4 bottles of wine. They are stackable so they don't take up as much space as bottles and they sit nicely on the shelf in the refrigerator waiting for you to come home and pour a glass of wine.

Great solution to annoying bottling (With some quirks given average instructions)
So this was a grand experiment for me. I hate bottling, and bottles are now getting super expensive, so i bought this and was a little worried given the overall lack of detail and instructions. First off. They work. and they work well. I siphoned into a bag at a time and put the spout plug on to seal it. This is a lot easier with 2 people, as it can get messy otherwise, but its possible to do with one. I did not have an issue getting the spout plug on like some people did. Just make sure its in all the way. Given there are limited instructions, here is where i went wrong. I overfilled the bags, and that's a problem as i can't get the boxes to close now. Next time i will fill the bag about 4/5ths and then try to get out as much air as I can from the bag and then seal it. So at this point i just have bladders of wine that are in the boxes, but i can't close the top. Oh well. It was a learning experiment and the wine is safely enclosed and sealed. I just can't stack them as i wanted. Be careful when you put in the spout which seals the bag. it has to go all the way in, but if you put too much pressure you can accidentally puncture the bag. Just be careful and your fine and do it over a slop sink. Overall, i love this. I am curious how it will maintain the quality of the wine over time and if the bags impart any flavor. Time will tell.

Worked great! Able to fill by myself.
These worked great for my daughters wedding that we had to hike into. We didn’t want to haul in/out glass wine bottles. I didn’t buy that “tool” that is supposed to be helpful in filling - wasn’t needed at all. I was able to do the whole process by myself. Follow the directions on how far in to push the nozzle part into bag hole after filled. Bags were sturdy, no leaks. I used a hot glue gun to close the boxes. Had put their engagement photos (printed on labels) one per box with the wine information. The bag/box holds 4 bottles of wine. Worked perfectly and looked great! I will definitely buy these again.

ONE BAG LEAKED
I like the product overall, I would likely give 4 or 5 stars, but one bag sprayed wine out bottom. It was a mess and required to me to come up with an on the fly plan B for storing the wine I had expected to be in that bag.

Worked with my 5 gallons wine
I had a 5 gallon batch of wine that I was dreading bottling and found out these existed. I bought the 3l bags and it was enough for most of the batch. I had a cup or 2 for myself and the rest had sediment so wasn’t worth saving anyway. I didn’t need any special equipment to fill them by myself. I haven’t noticed any issues in flavor. Since I mostly drink my wine myself, I will probably buy more of these for my next batches and only bottle a few to give to friends as gifts.

Homemade Box o' Wine - is this a great country or what?!
I make my own wine...these are perfect for creating 'box o' wine' storage units for those varietals that are quickly consumed. GET THE BIB CONNECTOR...this will be a pain if you don't. Instructions are sketchy, but if you've ever bought a box of Franzia - you'll figure it out.

The Astrapouch Wine Bag-in-Box Kits are an absolute game-changer! They completely take the hassle out of bottling wine. Filling and sealing the bags is so much easier and faster than dealing with individual bottles. Plus, the design keeps the wine fresh and makes dispensing a breeze. I’ll never go back to bottling wine again—this is by far the easiest and most convenient method I’ve found. On top of that, it’s eco-friendly, which is a great bonus. If you’re looking for a practical and efficient alternative to traditional wine bottles, this is the way to go. Highly recommended!
