Dell E Series 23-Inch Screen LED-lit Monitor (Dell E2318Hx), Black

This is a very satisfying monitor in my use. On one of my other computers I have a older Dell Ultrasharp model. This looks better to my eye. Some of this may the Ultrasharp is a few years old and some may be just improvements in technology since that older one was made. It's also a whole lot less expensive than the Ultrasharp. I love how Dell manages tool free assembly of their monitors. Just snap the mount on the stand and then slide the monitor into its mount. Done! The only caveat is to be sure to press the parts until they click into place. Mine is solid and stable. The E series monitors don't have the features of the higher prices models like adjustable height and a multitude of inputs. There are slots on the bottom so mount the appropriate Dell sound bar which is a nice addition, though I didn't use it for this one. I just needed a basic monitor that looked good and this was exactly that. The full HD (1920X1080) resolution is perfect for my use. I'm very pleased with the Dell 23in E2318Hx monitor. It gave me what I needed for a good price. I'm very satisfied with the quality of the display and was surprised that it looked better than my older and higher end Dell Ultrasharp monitor. As should be obvious I'm giving this monitor 5 stars. Excellent picture at a good price makes this a value in my opinion.

Decent quality for the price I bought this because I given the same monitor from school but the P version which I believe might be their professional line comes with the DisplayPort as well also USB on it for the professional this one does not very bare-bones but overall it does what it needs to the bezels are a little bit bigger than the P version but would recommend. Has 1 HDMI & 1 VGA. Stand is basic and also very low. Image quality is up to par with the Pew version I'm not doing photo editing so I can't give a great critique of it but good for my needs for CAD. Consider picking up two for the price that's what I did. I decided on 2 instead of an Ultrawide. Because with school I have a lot of PDF's and like a vertical screen. The stock mount DOES NOT go vertical and has no adjustment. The spot in between the 2 cords is where it goes. Very sturdy with also being very hard to get back out. Be CAREFUL make sure it clicks in. First time didn't go in all the way. Will make audible click when inserted correctly. As long as you're not looking for built-in USB a height adjustable stand get this version and save $100 so bucks.

I guess I could have gone up to a 27 in but after nothing but a laptop for so long, that just seemed huge. This one is a good size though, great for work AND watching movies and everything else I've done with it. I'm not a gamer so can't really comment on that, but this monitor is as good as my Samsung and LG TV's, as far as the fast and sharp picture - I really like it!

Decent monitor for the cost,but not as good as the 8 year old Samsung that it replaces. Screen will tilt but is not height adjustable. Mounting stand ok, but fairly flexible, nothing like the Samsung. Overall, it is a decent monitor for the price and does a decent job for basic home computing/web surfing.

I purchased 2 of these monitors on Black Friday. Within 3 weeks the screen on 1 of the monitors quit working. Dell offered to replace the monitor with a refurbished monitor because the item was purchased through Amazon and they are listed as the owner. Unfortunately, Dell was unable to transfer ownership to me in order to receive a new monitor. Amazon followed back up with me and shipped a new monitor that I received in 1 day. So far, I have not had any issues with the replacement and the original monitor that I purchased. Despite the outcome with Dell, their customer service was excellent and the rep followed back up with me after 1 week to confirm I received a monitor from Amazon. Overall, the screen is very clear, the brightness can be adjusted, and it is a lot easier on my eye. These monitors are worth buying to improve or add to any work from home set up. They are connected via HDMI cables and I have not had any issues. The monitors do not have speakers but that isn't an issue for me. These monitors are good for a bargain price. If you have a few more bucks to spare, Dell definitely has some other options with more high end features.

I gave my daughter one of my monitors for her virtual learning so I bought me a replacement monitor and didn't want to spend too much. I looked everywhere and this was the cheapest Dell monitor I found. It's a great value monitor! Quality is great and it was easy to put together. No issues, would definitely buy again if I had to.

Very impressive. I replaced my older 4:3 UltraSharp with this monitor at my office and I was not expecting it to look as nice as it does. I use it as a larger display for my MacBook Pro while I am at my desk and it is both very sharp and aesthetically looks very nice. Assembling the stand took about a minute, however I did notice it is a little wobbly on the included stand so I may eventually purchase a VESA mount that will also raise it up a little.

I love this monitor. I have 2 at work so ordered one at home. I needed to use it to project my laptop to. The screen is huge, crystal clear view and has many adaptors and drives so is compatible with whatever you want to hook it up to. Definitely recommend and I will probably buy another one.
