I am using this to allow powering our new suite of electronics: chart plotter, radar, sonar, etc. They included in the box a fitting that allows one to connect wires to the power supply, so it’s a very easy thing to do. This power supply provides 12VDC at 5 amps (so 60 Watts). Moreover, it will accept input voltages up to 240 VAC and 50 Hz, making it useful and usable (with adapters for plugs) anywhere in the world. Very nice device.

Cheaper than the dell oem charger, but charges just as good. Wanted a second charger so I didn’t always have to get behind my desk and unplug the original when traveling with my laptop. This works great, packs up nicely and won’t break the bank.

I got this power adapter to power a Nexstar 8se telescope. I wanted an adapter more powerful than the 2A ones that are common, so I went for this one. It has worked perfectly for powering my scope and tracking when I use it with an extension cable outside (note that it says its for indoor use only). I have not tried powering additional items off of it, e.g. a dew heater, so I can't speak to its full power rating, but it runs the scope fine. Hopefully it lasts.

I may discontinue writing reviews on products I buy. I spent a good deal of the day January 04, 2019 catching up on reviews for items I purchased. Only two have been posted. Leaves me to wonder if I should invest my time writing them. Perhaps Amazon doesn't have staff to monitor the incoming quantity of reviews? I purchased to run some LED COB under cabinet lighting. That will be controlled by Amazon Alexa when installed.Reason for buying is it will be a birthday gift for someone needing additional lighting in the kitchen. It will also aid the individual so that person doesn't have to fumble around with a small switch on present florescent light.This power supply is UL listed, small / compact, and priced very well. I suspect it will last the individual a very long time.Do not think power supply may only be used for LED COB lights. It can be used for any product you have that requires 12V DC power. I ordered a couple of these to replace one I had to remove the output plug on. (Got one as a spare.) I had needed a simple two wire connection and not the barrel plug and cut the plug off of one I already had...then I needed another with the barrel back in place and was like - uh oh - so I ordered a replacement - this one. When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised to find not just the transformer but it also included a barrel plug adapter to a simple two wire terminal block! This would have been just what I needed when I cut the cord off of my existing one. A very nice addition to the device and makes it even more useful. I will remember this and order these for my future needs since they serve more than one purpose now! Thanks Ledmo!!

The power supply works fine to wire adapter does not work. You can attach the power supply to the one side but the power does not come out the wire connections on the other side!? I have used these power supplies before and even have one working now.I have use this sort of connector for years and this is the first one I have had not work. I would be very happy if someone would tell me how I can get a replacement.

I purchased this Power Adapter for use with my under-the-counter LED light string in our kitchen. This is my second purchase of this Power Adapter since the first one was mounted inside a kitchen cabinet and was getting too hot. The first one lasted 5 years. But I'm not completely certain why the adapter seemed to be overloading. I strongly suspect it was because of the failure of the LED light string itself. I noticed that the light string had quite a few LED lights that were gradually failing. This caused a noticeable reduction in light output, as well as an increase in heat generated from the light failures. Perhaps those light failures aggravated the power adapter, causing it to fail also. We'll see how this replacement holds up. I'll get back to you in about 5 years!

The plug worked great I mean how can you mess up a plug?? I would recommend this to anyone

Works well, snug fitting connector - a good thing

I'm using this to replace two nicrew 2A power supplies that came with my two nicrew full spectrum 16-20 inch led planted tank lights. Instead of having two power supplies &ramp timers I can now use one ramp timer and a Y cable to split output to control both light units. So I now I can use the two left over supplies to power a a 12V temp monitor and a use the ramp timer and Ps unit to for my diy led hood project. Perfect:The power supply is compact nicely made and has a green led on light with soft start . At peak my two led units draw 36watts/3A total the ps brick is in my tank stand and just gets lightly warm at peak output.

(See update)Purchased Jan 2023. Random failures Sep 2023. Full failure Oct 2023.Bought it to power a low voltage light strip. I was very happy to have light in a small shed. Sadly, started to randomly stop working in Sep and no longer functions in Oct. Total time in use would be 36 hrs. It was a recommended product with the light strip and a fair price at the time. I can't say it was a good purchase now and regret buying.Update:Customer service was quick to respond and offered a full refund. For that, 4 stars.
