Sleeping peaceful
This has been a great addition to my place. I have had it for quite some time. I feel comfortable enough to leave my out swinging egress window open when I am sleeping.I installed it where I have to climb on my bed to open and close it. You would literally have to be 7+ feet tall to access it. Suffer no delusion, I have a camera placed to see the window for added ease.

Worked great on crank out windows, and doesn’t look bad either
Our toddlers figured out how to open crank out windows, on the second floor! This made it safe for us to leave them in there without constant eyes on them

Prevents window fully closing
When installed according to the instructions, the window can no longer close fully and be locked. The interior part needs to be held off of the window surface by 3/16".

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I don't know if this product is effective or not because you can not install it if your windows have screens (and you want to keep the screens in place).

They work as advertised
I dont have kids but I got this bc of wind smashes my window when opened, since its very windy I only have to open it a bit, which makes this perfect and easy to release.
