Prints on cardstock
Quiet and efficient I believe this is the best printer I have ever owned. Super easy to setup, even for a closet luddite like me. Looking forward to making greeting cards again now I am confident I have a printer equal to the task.

print quality is fantastic
I don't find anywhere as many negatives with my Canon G650 printer as many reviews state.First the niggles, it stated delivery was next day, I ordered it on a Saturday and it arrived the following Wednesday. It's not as solid as my previous Canon printer, not as bad as some reviews claim. A USB lead is needed but not supplied. My biggest complaint is the LCD screen, it is so small and very difficult to see as it is not back lit, keep a torch close by is what I would suggest. I don't understand why the enclosed set up disc only supports Windows .OK, the positive points, the build quality is decent, it is easy to set up, it is quiet and smooth when printing, photo printing is fantastic as the prints are very clear, vibrant and the colour is true to the original photograph. The Canon photo print editor is excellent and offers so much when printing photos and being creative. I have bought Canon printers for many years and I have to say that the G650 is the best yet for printing photos. I have had the G650 for about a week and have printed text, photos and used various types of paper and I can't find a fault with anything so far.It took me about four weeks to decide on which Canon printer to buy to replace my old TS8050. The reason it took me so long is that the reviews were putting me off every printer that was suitable to my needs. In the end I was so confused and my head was spinning with so much information that I decided to read the blurb from the manufacture, this lead me to purchase the G650 and so far I am very pleased with my purchase.A little bit more effort was required to get the printer to work on my iPad via WI-FI.I would say that if you are in the market for a 3 in 1 printer, the G650 would be worth considering. It is a six ink printer so replacement ink is going to be a bit more expensive than most. I know genuine inks are more expensive, however I find they offer the best print quality when doing photographs. The above is purely based one my initial opinion and the printer was not given to me by any third party for me to write a favourable review.

I'm Tanked for Christmas & beyond!!
after losing our long standing local art shop for my Colour Photocopying.. & 8 yrs after owning a colour Ink cassette Printer...I have been more than pleased with My Canon 6 colour Tank Printer.. They're a breath of fresh air.. I can't tell you how many Photos I've printed off for My Christmas Cards this year & they've Not even dented the Tanks.. seriously!!using photographic paper the quality is pretty darn good for a home printer & more than I need for my Amateur snaps..I really can't fault it.. for the money spent & for what is a Home Printer not a Business One costing £thousands!!

Be wary what you get in the box. (Great Printer though)
This is a great printer. The only reason I have given it 4 stars is 2 things.1:Item arrived with a EU plug on it and not a U.K plug2:For the cost of £270 for the printer you would expect to also get a printer cable with the item. But no they expect all customers to have a ready supply of these items in there house. so for £270 not happy with having to spend extra money for 2 more items to get it to work.I recommend the printer but the extras you have to buy is a joke.

Excellent Print Quality, Hopeless WiFi Module
Cannot fault the quality of the photo prints, they are excellent. The ink tanks supplied are also long lasting, a vast improvement on cartridges. The only drawback is the WiFi connection, which is tediously slow (even when the printer is located near to the router or an access point). If you are printing a series of very high quality, high definition photos, they take forever over WiFi. I had to revert to a USB 5 metre cable to connect. It’s a shame Canon have ditched the Ethernet port on this printer to save money, which worked fine on my previous Canon printer.
