Install was same as replacement of regular light bulb. I bought this for my Yamaha C3 scooter. Huge update as far as brightness over the factory bulb. Only thing I can say negative, initial start up it dose flicker But once rpms go to idle it’s good to go.

I needed a brighter light for my ktm625smc I ordered so many different lights and most of them didn't fit in the housing. Out of all the ones that did this was the brightest light

Have flicker issues on buddy 50 2t waiting on a anti flicker harness to see if that solves the issue
