Great Read
This book should be read by every high school freshman in America. Such an easy read and great primer on all things watershed function and conservation.

Good teaching tool!
Appropriate for introductory lessons for middle and high school students. Those with sincere interest in the subject matter will be able to identify particular topics of interest and direct their own studies.

Worth every penny.
Another great book for us to enhance the school's library for the students interested in our watershed - the students we teach live on the Barnegat Bay - so lots of information to protect our watershed and estuary.

Interesting
This book gave to me some good ideas for how to manage watersheds. Kind of basic but good for kids and adults, both.

Middle School level book
Great book for explaining how watersheds (drainage basins) work. It's written at about a middle school level and is readable.

Great introductory text to watersheds
I got this book several years ago when I was looking for a book that gave a good understanding of watersheds. While it seemed more appropriate for a younger group, maybe 6th through 9th grades, I found it very helpful. It has a lot of good basic information and shouldn't be passed over by adults just because it's written for a younger crowd.

Interesting Read
My 7th grader was required to have this book for a Watershed Program at her school. We read it together and learned so much about how we as humans effect the watersheds. I look forward to learning more on this subject through her classes this year.
