These are fantastic! They are built very well. The door gets caught on the slanted part and you have to wiggle it back and forth to get it out - it won't damage it because of how sturdy and solid they are. There is no way someone is coming into my house without hearing it while sleeping. Can't beat the price, durability, and function. They are really durable too! You can set the sensitivity so the slightest movement or touch will set it off. I've set it off myself many times while removing from the door base in the morning. I've learned to just turn off the switch before picking it up. It also fits with different height doors from the floor. No matter what, it works great. I've put it on plush thick carpet and it stays in place when the door is opened. What happens is the door gets stuck on the slanted part so they can't get in anyway, even without the alarm. So if you run out of batteries, I would still use it until you get new batteries. I would just place the alarm far enough away from the knob side (where door opens) so they couldn't reach around and pull the alarm back by hand. I have no fear now and I live alone in a new state. The front door is at the complete opposite end of the house. You would easily hear the alarm - 50 feet away, which is the distance from my bedroom to the front door. Best Buy ever and Peace of Mind!

The price was great for 3! They are certainly loud enough to wake a person up, possibly stop a predator, and prevent a crime! I like that they can’t be hacked into also. All too often WiFi and all our “trusted devices,” are cyber compromised, hacked into, we are spied on, listened to, stalked, watched and via technology -too often are targeted and potentially at real risk. A false sense of security is very dangerous. These offer a simple signal, alert that can’t be hacked /silenced by others! Good product, great price-safety and security are priceless.

These are pretty basic and have been around for a long time so have a solid design and are good and loud.

These are a great investment. I was a little unsure if to get these or not, due to some comments saying they slide and don't work. Well I have wood floor and I forgot they were by the front door and the alarm went off, really loud. So it does the job and for the price of it, can't complain.

There is nothing to dislike on this product, learn how to use them not just for a door alarm , but for protection , use thisfor personal protection cause they are very loud, give it to your son or daughter while they are playing outside but showthem first on the proper use for protection like if they feel threatened they can set off the alarm and you will differently hearthe sound very loud. I have four and will buy more .They are great for Christmas Gifts. Take them when you check in HotelI always keep one in my car , take one when you go shopping or a family outing.I never leave home without one, cause you want to protect your family and like most of us we don’t have a weapon that we can rely on.So this product is a reliable source of protection.John

This is an inexpensive alarm that can give you piece of mind. Easily placed in back of a door it will alarm with a loud shrill noise when the door opens scaring a thief off and alerting you to an intruder!!!!

Poorly made. One didn't even work at all. I was stuck in the alarm position straight out of the box. They flip over every time someone opens the door! NOT a good product at all, or either I got a bad batch!!!

Excellent strong door stop not tried the alarm yet but pushed stops under several doors and thry wouldn’t budge as the grip on carpets was really strong

First of all I'd like to say that this price could not be beat for 3 pieces not just one piece two alarms. However in the ad it does not tell you that you are required to have 9 V battery. So I needed to purchase Amazon rechargeable batteries and a charger which I'm very pleased with so far.I'm waiting for these batteries to charge up so that I can test out the stopper and see if the alarm works I'm pretty confident that it will I've owned one of these before and they were great if you travel a lot or if you have children and you're wanting to spend some time alone with your partner. The alarm is pretty loud so it's very startling.
