How to test if it's waterproof.

Upon receipt place a piece of paper directly into the case and close it. Place in water for ten minutes or more. Be sure to dry the outside of the case after taking it out, as opening it may spill into the inside. Check if the paper is wet.

Is the sound blocked?

No, it isn't. Sound-permeable materials and structures are used near the sound. So that you can use it normally every day. Keeps your iPhone safely inside.

Not for daily use

This case is only for water proof protection. It can not be used for daily use. It is hard to hear speaker phone, and touch screen uses more direct force to use. It does seal the phone great and would probably be useful if in a watery situation. But it will sit in the box until I’m flooding or swimming with sharks.
