OMG!!!! Yes this is expensive but WOW it is THE BEST hob cleaner I have ever bought! It lasts ages and a little goes along way. This is the 3rd bottle in about as many years; and it just eats baked on Greece, spillages, burnt potato water etc - just a squirt on the hob and with a soft cloth gently circle the product onto the surface - it has a gritty texture at first then melts into a smooth paste, no scrubbing or effort required, it lifts all the spillages off, no need to rinse either just wipe off the residue and you will be left with a shiny streak free hob! I even had a go with it on my splash back tiles and it worked!!!

In short this cleans better than any other product we have tried for the surface of a ceramic hob cleaner. It leaves a nice shine and some protective coating so regular use may protect the surface from wear and it will make it easier to clean. It does not have strong or lingering scent. The rest of this review is for those of with pets, with chemical sensitivities...although many don't know that is where their migraines come from, or thier child's asthma, those who care about chemical exposure, and finally those who just don't like the cloying and constant miasma of perfumes. I qualify on all counts, to the point thatbi live a very isolated life for fear of a life threatening asthma attack from someone's heavy use perfumes. I was hesitant to buy this, as it does list perfume on the ingredients. I am sensitive to many perfumes, in some cases to the point of several asthma attacks requiring paramedics. The hob brite we used to use is now so bad I cant be int he room for some time after it is used. Perfumes are completely unregulated and many have hormone disrupting agents, carcinogens and other harmful chemicals. And for those of with allergies, as they aren't listed so we have no idea which ones will trigger an attack. Those who have pets cant know which ones will trigger allergies, or in the case of birds, death either. Many pet allergies dissappear with reduced chemical usage and caged bird lifespans have nose dived over the last couple few decades, with many living less than half what those in chemical free households live. In addition, I have found more and more companies are substituting smells clean for clean. The products become more and more watered down ,to the point that in many cases you may as well just clean with water. They substitute heavy smells for cleaning agents and I guess that makes people think it is clean. Unfortunately I don't think hob brite works quite as well as it did years ago. This must have a faint perfume, as the smell isn't bad at all. I could be in the same room as it was used and there was no lingering smell which affects the cooking. It did not make me ill in any way. Still I wish they woukd make a perfume free product, or go against industry standard practice and clearly list whatever products are used, making sure only to use safe scents. I am giving this product 5 stars because it is better than most. Almost no cleaning products are really safe for those with birds, who I feel act as th canaries in the coal mines of our homes. We have no idea how these products are affecting our dogs, who have much more sensitive senses of smell and must be constantly bombarded with stench. We do many have improvements in behaviour as well as massive improvement in allergies and other health issues whe. Humans reduce the perfumes in the environment. Household air is now more toxic than roadside air thanks to the array of poisons we use to disguise ba odours instead of removing them. So it's a sad statement that a product gets high praise simply for poisoning us less than most other products.

It removed most of the stain from my hob, although a small mark remains. Easy to use and the smell isn’t too strong.

Keeps my hob clean and shiny,you only need a small amount.

I purchased this as I tried everything I had at home to remove the stains on my ceramic hob. I’ve been to various department stores including John Lewis to get advice about the white marks all over my hob, But nothing was successful. I then looked on YouTube and saw that people were having great success with this. What a difference! You don’t have to use very much, so a bottle is going to last a good time. I just apply a small amount onto any marks and rub with a cloth in a circular motion, and as the marks disappear, you gradually move around the hob. This then leaves a glossy protective finish. Add just a little you really don’t need very much and it would just make the job harder. I clean mine a couple of times a week and the whole process takes about five minutes. The product leaves a glossy protective film. I am very fussy and I am delighted with this product.

Wish I'd take a picture of our Neff hob before as it was way worse than any of the before pics here, I honestly thought it was ruined and was considering splashing out on a new top. This stuff is amazing though, after a few applications the top has gone from 50% stains and around 30% scratches, many of which were large and I'd assumed permanent, to 1% stains and 2% tiny scratches, all of which now blend in to the overall black, glossy appearance that's been restored. The only marks left are ones we put in trying to remove stains by other means along the way. If I'd known about this stuff since the beginning it would have certainly kept the hob looking brand new. As it stands, the restoration it's done on 10 years of misuse is more than good enough. True 5/5 product.

I wish I knew about this cleaner earlier! I was suffering with cleaning induction panel every time, I tried a tons of tools and liquids, and this one is the best! You just put a bit of it to the paper towel and wipe until it crystallized and powdered. After that, you have a perfect, mirror-like surface with zero scratches and stains

on voulant nettoyer ma plaque je l’ai abîmé avec ce produit. La plaque est presque neuve achète y’a moins de 6 mois après l’utilisation de ce produit j’ai remarqué pleines de rayures sur ma plaque. Je suis en communication avec l’entreprise pour avoir un dédommagement 😔

Ich war zunächst etwas skeptisch, weil man diesen Reiniger nicht mit nassem Lappen verreibt, sondern mit trockenem Lappen! Aber es funktioniert! Sogar tadellos, besser als mit jedem Mittel, was ich bisher verwendete, und zwar schon etliche Jahre! Ich gehe so vor (heute gab es Hähnchenschenkel und die Ceranplatte war tüchtig verspritzt und fettig): ich wische als erstes mit meinem Spüllappen aus dem Spülwasser über die Platte, um Fettpfützen wegzuwischen. Dann gebe ich etwas Reiniger auf das Ceranfeld und verreibe dies mit einem trockenen Spüllappen. So lange, bis alle Schmutzreste weg sind, man poliert sozusagen, und siehe da, auf einmal gleitet der Lappen ganz leicht über das Kochfeld und dein Ceranfeld glänzt wie neu! Es macht so viel Spaß, dass man den gesamten Reinigerklecks auf dem Lappen im Nu ver-poliert (neue Wortschöpfung! :-) ! Dieser Reiniger ist sein Geld wert! Neben dem Pflegeeffekt kann man sich den Schaber auch sparen, man kann den aber auch noch einsetzen, so gegen Ende des Poliervorganges. (Immer noch ohne Wasser) Nachtrag: Heute nach dem gestrigen Putzen brauchte ich nach dem Kochen gar nicht mit Mittel putzen. Ich wischte das Ceranfeld feucht ab, schabte festen Schmutz mit drei Schaberstrichen weg und gut wars. Der Effekt hält nämlich noch den nächsten Tag an, immer noch hochglänzend und glatt ist die Platte, als wenn sie imprägniert wäre. Geruch: angenehm. Sehr empfehlenswert!
