I gave tis a try. I think I prefer whole oysters, but this "Oyster Pieces" offering does provide a cost savings, and the size and texture of the pieces are not too bad, with the pieces still being reasonably large (some of them almost whole). Taste is fine. As usual, Polar is a pretty reliable brand choice.

FROM CHINA, TERRIBLE, LIKE MUSH
I could not eat this at all. I purchased three cases, and Amazon refunded all my money. Such a terrible product. For the life of me I don’t understand why Amazon does not try products PRIOR to selling products like this that are not edible. So they must raise their prices in order to cover their refunds. A stupid business practice at best.

Good/nutritious
When I could only have very soft food for a coupla months, I made ramen noodles with 1/2 can oysters added. Quite pleasant combo that helped me have some variety in a soft diet.

Extremely mushy, smell was unremarkable - normal. Last can was pretty good, so hit or miss.
We eat a lot of fresh, frozen and canned seafood. This brand of oysters were extremely mushy, hard to see if there were any whole oysters in the can; we threw them away. They did not smell bad, and were not expired. It seemed like this was the left over slime from canning good oysters. Looked so bad, could not risk even trying to taste them. Giving this 2-stars because for those brave enough to use them in soup seem to suggest they are ok. The 8 oz can size is about right for a single serving or bowl of soup, and most oysters are quite healthy. ---update--- I opened a total of 4x 8oz cans. The first can the oysters stuck to the lid, and was super pasty; second can was slightly better, threw both away. Wrote this review and decided to open the last 2 cans I had. The third can was only about 30% mushy and looked ok, the last can was about 90% good, so I put both of these last two cans in a tomatoe/vegetable soup and taste was good. Raising my score to 3-stars; and adding photos.
