These are pretty great little lights. I have a few issues with them but overall am happy with my purchase. They are battery powered and work well with motion detection. I bought two sets and one out of the six I had to have my husband fix because the contact piece was off a little and wasn't hitting the battery so it wasn't lighting up. The sticky part of the magnet aren't that strong and most of them fell off after a few uses. I just got the 3m wall hook pull tab things and used those instead and they work great with it and those don't damage your surfaces. I put them in our medicine cabinet and a few of our cupboards.

Purchased for a metal storage cabinet that holds long narrow items. The amount of light is appropriate to see what you are doing and to see everything in the cabinet. For the price I highly recommend these lights. The lights go out about 15 seconds after the last motion is detected meaning they stay on as long as you are rummaging through the cabinet. Perfect.

These closet lights are very useful for dark closets or cabinets. They are well made and the LED lights provide just the right illumination. The motion sensor is sensitive and the lights stay on as long as there is motion. Quickly grabbing a coat and shutting the door provides just a short enough burst of light (maybe 15 seconds) thus saving the batteries. The LEDs give off a soothing light, not the blueish light of older LEDs. As an option, I would like to see the light bar holder that has a magnet tape to attract the light bar come with two pre-drilled holes for extra security. I unfortunately moved my holder twice by peeling it off the gloss molding until I found the right location in the closet thereby reducing the stick quality of the holder backing. It fell off the door molding overnight but did not break after landing on a tile floor from a seven foot height, the light bar still works perfectly. It is very easy to drill into the holder if this happens. I could not be more pleased at what these lights do to improve visibility in a dark closet. Highly recommend them and will buy more when needed.

This is the second time we purchased these sensor lights. Very happy with the ones we had been using for a couple years now and wanted more for other areas.

Out of the three that we received, two of them worked fine and are still working great. The third one worked for about a week and just quit. Not a battery issue, it just stopped working. I would have given them all 5 stars if they would have all stayed working as I think they are a great product for dark hallways and stair landings.

I bought several packs of these a few years ago for my pantry and just ended up tossing them all. They are bright when they work. However, the motion detection is a bit finicky and they eat batteries. I had a few that would only light dimly with new batteries. Shaking them made them light brightly but then changing the position would cause them to go dim randomly. The motion detection would sometimes be too sensitive and cause them to turn on when I walked by them a fair ways away. Other times, I had to wave my hand inches from the sensor to get them to turn on. For lighting solutions, I am always hesitant to go with battery powered lights but I thought the LEDs would quell my power consumption concerns but I had no such luck.

I keep these all over the house. Very stable construction. It works fine even with cheap batteries. It gets me through any short power outage. I keep them in my dark closets as well.

The construction is fairly cheap even though the housing is part aluminum. The light is bright enough and the PIR sensor is stated to have a 100º field of 'view'. It responds quickly to movement.However, I've found contrary to vendor claims, •all three lights• turn on in bright ambient light when sensing motion. I haven't bothered testing them in direct sunlight as that would be irrelevant. But they all still illuminate while in the presence of strong ambient light. This makes them useless for my original intended purpose.The 15sec period of illumination is too short. You must move fairly constantly in the sensor's presence or you'll have to deliberately trigger the light repeatedly.Other LED motion-detector lights I bought work famously, but when I tried to purchase more, Amazon showed them as unavailable and they didn't know if or when they might again be available. Now even that page is no longer available.If these lights are placed in a high traffic area, they will illuminate during 'daytime' lighting and the batteries will fail more quickly. For closets and areas that routinely never see 'daylight', they may be fine.If they can't repurposed, they'll be returned. I can't recommend them and would not buy them again.

A great addition in any home....in closets and dark cupboards , even bathrooms...good greeting light to help you see as soon as you enter and get you started, batteries last a long long timeI bought a few 3packs and gave some as gifts were all recieved very well.

Love this product so much. It is bright, the motion sensor is responsive and the light stays on for about 15 seconds unless you are still moving about, then it stays on until you stop. Easy to install and looks smart. Would definitely recommend.

Terrible cheap plastic cover is difficult to close. One of the three lights is not working. Waste of money.
