Update: Jan, 2023 First purchased these glasses in 2017. Used daily on & off, on & off... In 2021 or early 2022, as another review mentioned and showed in a picture, the plastic where the sides slide to adjust broke. I wore & used them for several more months by taping it in place. Eventually, however, the lense section began slipping out when just hanging around my neck and I'd lose it---finding it again somewhere in the house and starting over with fresh tape. I think what little plastic hadn't broken off and helped at first to hold the two pieces together when taped, was now gone. Tape alone wasn't tight enough for the weight of the lense section. I've updated this review because this is the first pair of readers I've ever used for more than a yr or so-- many only lasting 4-6 mos. These, I got almost 5 yrs heavy use out of. Well worth the higher price! I bought another pair in 2022 but at a higher magnification which bothered my eyes. So here I am finally buying exactly the same ones I bought the first time. Oh... and that 2nd pair -- the back up ones, I mentioned in my original review...I put them someplace to keep them safe. For the life of me I have no idea where. I've looked all over for the better part of a yr but haven't found them yet. If there's any con to these glasses it's also what makes them so great. They have the structured, behind the neck form which allows them to hang around your neck--but also doesn't make them easy to store an extra pair. It's not like just putting them in a protective case and throwing them in the console of your the car, or in a kitchen drawer-- they need more room and there's no protective case to shield the lenses. Where ever you put them, be sure they won't be getting all scratched up. I did such a good job on that front I don't know where I put them! ATTEN. CLIC : HAVE I GOT A MARKETING IDEA FOR YOU. Clic Adjustable Front Connect Readers- I'm wearing these now as I write this review. They're comfortable and fit fine with no adjustment needed. The magnet is strong so I don't anticipate any problem with it pulling apart on it's own. The style and cut is such that's it's easy to look up over them to glance at tv, talk to others, walk around my home, etc. I wasn't sure I'd like these. Up to this point, my favorite pair out of probably 100's tried over the years, were a very thin, very light weight & fragile metal wire frame. However, that said, although these aren't as light weight as those were, they are lighter than many others I've had. They're very comfortable to wear and because so easy to look over when not needed, I tend to forget they're on--until I need to see something I'd need reader glasses for and they're right there! A big plus! I bought the tortoise and they're classic, as well as attractive. When I finish this review, I'm going to order another pair. Normally I'd have a pair for the car, a pair for my purse, a pair in the bathroom, a pair in the kitchen... all who need readers now what I mean. I suspect these will probably always be on so I won't need a spare pair everywhere--just one back-up pair. That said, it's a good thing because they don't fold and so wouldn't fit in my purse anyway. They don't appear to be extra fragile either so I expect them to last a long time. Thank you Amazon for carrying these. I've never seen them before and am, obviously, glad I found them.

People are not usually motivated to write a review unless they really love or really hate a product. This is no exception. I LOVE these reading glasses! The price is at the upper end of what I would pay for reading glasses, but I am glad i bought them. Normally i buy them from the 99 cents store in bulk.There are reasons to do that as well, but if you want a pair of reading glasses that are well constucted, durable, won't slide off your face, and actually have glass lenses in them then this is your product. The front connecting glasses have a solid frame that goes all the way around your head. You can adjust it to fit your head. I have a large head and they could go even larger if I needed them to. One word of warning, you may want to avoid these if you have a unibrow, as your eyebrow hair may get caught in the magnetic clasp n the front.

Cool and convenient pair of glasses, quality is great, fit is good, not too thick or thin. Recommend.

These are great for keeping around your neck they don’t fall off and I can easily have my sunglasses on and these around my neck so I always have them when needed. The best part is a strong magnet and quality frames. The cheap ones have weak magnets.

This is a great idea except it doesn’t work well with long hair. The band that goes around the back of your neck has to be pulled through from the neckline to the ears over your hair. Then it doesn’t sit right on your ears. Perfect for those without long hair but not recommended for those who do.

Are you a guy, or do you have a guy in your life, who needs to hold reading material an arm's length away? Have you gotten to that point where your distance vision is still excellent, but trying to read the words in a book or magazine, or Heaven forbid, on a prescription bottle, absolutely sucks?! As the wife of a picky male who is disgusted with most reading glasses, I'm giving these Adjustable Front Connect Readers a BIG 5 stars for the following reasons. #1 My husband loves them! He wears them constantly and recommends them to all his friends who need reading glasses. #2 They look good on my husband. The tortoise frame color and the shape of the frame is attractive on a male. I guess they would look good on a woman, too, someone who doesn't care for a fancier look. #3 I no longer have to buy innumerable sets of reading glasses that are constantly getting lost or misplaced. Since these readers are attached around my husband's neck, he doesn't take them off and put them down in all kinds of strange places when he's done reading. He just lets them stay around his neck until he needs them again, so there is much less chance of them getting lost. #4 I like the way my husband feels comfortable with these glasses, the way he gets such a kick out of showing them to his buddies, the fact that even though he's getting older and going through all the things that come along with aging, he's found a tool that suits his eye changes and his rather macho image. That means a lot to a wife who loves her husband and wants him to be happy. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

I ordered these CliC glasses after having them recommended to me by my son-in-law. When the price dropped, I ordered a pair from a Marketplace seller. The design of the glasses is well thought out and the magnetic nose piece a small bit of genius, but the glasses are narrow. Even with the stems fully extended, there's no way to comfortably wear these if your head is deep or wide. I could wear them, but they weren't very comfortable. I was actually prepared to keep them and tough it out as the design is so cool, until I noticed a scuff on the right lens, which prompted me to return them when I couldn't wipe it off. If they fit your head, you'll love these glasses for the design, ease of use and good looks. However, if you can, try out a pair before ordering so you know they'll fit your face before you order.

They fit better than the first ones ordered. It only took one day to o receive the new pair. Thank you
