Instructions a little confusing, but when you get the hang of it’s easy to install. Quality is okay so far I haven’t put anything on top so I don’t know how they’ll be with a roof box on top. They fit my car 2017 Honda Civic. Overall they’re decent but when installing them and tightening onto your car they can break easily, I had to buy another set since the first ones broke.

Used the roof racks with snowboard racks with 1-4 snowboards and it held going 70+. Needs some assembly, fits on my 10th gen civic. Not the prettiest but for the price it’s alright. Definitely noticed more wind noise and increased fuel consumption. Overall it’s priced good and functions as intended.

Black plastic stands broke while driving and kayaks fell off the car and scratched the roof. installed the day of delivery drove around with them on the roof for a few days before actually installing J-Hooks and kayaks. everything seemed to stay tight and no issues so far. installed kayaks, drove about 30 miles to lake, on the way back the stand on the passenger front side failed and the kayaks slid off my car as i was driving. thank goodness the people behind me swerved in time. i think the plastic materials that were used in the construction of the stands is cheap and cant take any heat. the temp that day was over 90 degrees and the car sat for close to 7 hours and my car is also black so the heat soaked in. I was a master technician for volvo trucks before switching to the IT field and am very mechanically inclined and not the first time i have installed roof racks. this is the first time i have had this happen though. would not recommend this product to others. Been using this for a year now. Took me sometime to attached it to my car and scratched (that's what I deserve for not reading the manuals). Just be ready coz it will add a little noise when your driving because it will ruin your car's aerodynamics. I recently bought a roof rack windshild fairing and it somehow lessen the noise. It will also be difficult to clean your roof everytime you're going to wash it and also be prepared to make some effort in taking out snow. One flaw I'm seeing is the product didn't go with a patch. With the brand Thule and Yakima they have those to prevent scrathes since the material used to hold the rack is made from metal.

Mounted these on my 2013 elantra for my kayaks. the roof rack is no frills and the hardware is a bit on the cheap side. Keeping in mind this is a budget option, it does its job. only think is the system it uses to ratchet and lock in place is a bit sticky and fiddly, but eventually you get it. the parts look mostly plastic except for the actual bar and clamp assembly, but works fine. Cheap but serviceable. I dont regret buying it- does what it says and dont expect more.

Came earlier than expected which was a nice surprise. It is pretty low profile on my Honda civic, but fit my Thule cargo box fine. Very sturdy and didn’t move at all after a 5 hour trip on the highway. I wouldn’t have this on long term because I’m worried about moisture getting into the metal because it’s not sealed very properly. For the money I spent it’s very worth it.

Negatives first: the instructions are garbage. Positive: For the price it's a great value. Alot of keys, they give you so many keys it's gonna be hard to lose them all. Solid build whence everything is tightened up this isn't going anywhere.
