Casablanca Companion: The Movie Classic and Its Place in History

A quintessential text for college level reports, which not only quotes verbatim from the film, but gives additional information on the film-making process, the actors, most of whom had their own harrowing stories escaping the Nazis and details about how the war proceeded right along with the actual filming. Fascinating.

Great item for Casablanca fans. Has the entire script, pictures from key scenes and some back ground material. It isn't very large and that makes it easy to take with me on trips or commutes.

This book is excellent. I'm a WwII historian and this book intertwines actual WWII history with the movie. I am very happy with this purchase.

The greatest movie ever made. I had purchased all the books but never heard of this one. It is now on my bookshelf - a worthy item and good read for fans of the movie.

This is more of a History Book rather than a Movie Companion. Less than 10% of it is about Casablanca, the place or the movie. It's really sort of dishonest to show the cover photo and fool buyers into thinking it's content is related to the movie when it's related to WWII. Don't waste your money.
