This is the best cookbook about Scotland I’ve ever seen. Just reading the recipes and the beautiful comments throughout the book got me a bit emotional about the food I’ve eaten with my family or friends. Every single Scottish dish or food I could think of is here, even the so-called Scottish ones we nicked from somewhere else but everyone has anyways. Easy to difficult, huge meals to wee snacks, old fashioned to modern - this book literally has it all. Can’t wait to make my own black pudding, my own potato scones and my own morning rolls…

Very well written and illustrated book on all the old delights I remember from my mother and grandmothers kitchens plus some new twists as well.Fabulous ......now I need to try to emulate such wonderful dishes.
