What a great set! Fly fishing for a year now, almost exclusively. I got it to replace my moonshine drifter rod and creede reel as I've been in alot of tight places lately and feared breaking it. Side note, I'll never buy another rod or reel thats expensive enough that I'll worry when I actually use it. I've tried this brand, maxcatch and orvis. I mainly fish for panfish anyway. Back to this set. It has everything you need to get going but a set of forceps. You could get away with just carrying the bag it comes in too, nice little side pouch. The reel does what reels do at this size, nothing special but it did some pre spooled and the line stretched out nicely. Also a few leaders that didnt just snap when I dionked them, cool. The rod is pretty stiff almost to the tip, but as soon as I got used to it I was sending flies into the trees just as much my expensive sets, and also catching fish too. The rod is kinda "cheaper" feeling but it functionals well. I liked the looks of the set and glad I bought it.

I’ve had this rod for about 3 weeks, and caught a TON of fish on this thing. Very responsive, great drag, and a perfect case to carry. I was extremely easy to use right out of the box. It casts great, with the right fly, I can easily shoot it out 20-30 yards. You can’t go wrong at this price!

Bought it as a gift for my son as a surprise. He was absolutely blown away how easy it is to use assemble disassemble excellent storage case came with tons of accessories very happy with purchase.

Great starter setup for a beginner with all you need to get on the water. I got the 5/6 weight, 9' pole with reel, travel case and tackle for about $100. I looked at FB Marketplace and this was the most economical entry into fly fishing. The reel is the weakest part of the setup from due to the adjustability in setting the drag. I would like the drag setting mechanism more if it was more subtle. It's hard to beat this setup for the price.

My husband loves the fishing pole bag — it’s cute, practical, and easy to carry. He says the rod is great, and the line works really well too. According to him, it’s very easy to use and feels like good quality. It also comes with a few flies, which is a nice bonus. Overall, he’s really happy with it and thinks it’s a great set.

Finally went to the little native brook trout stream I bought this fly rod for. Within 10 casts of a dry fly the pole behind the 4th eye from the tip. Pure junk. Save your money.

C’est une bonne canne pour le prix. Attention pour les débutants, le fils était monté à l’envers, il a fallu tout débobiner et le rembobiner à l’endroit. La canne est bien rigide, on peut mettre des soins jusqu’à cinq ou six.
