Love the lamp. I wrote and asked for the output on the USB, concerned that it'd be slow charging. The response from BrightTech was exactly the info I requested (the exact voltage or amperage); I realized it was a slow charger. But then i realized that I leave my phone plugged in over night so that wasn't a problem (it's also my morning alarm clock). Very convenient; one less plug for the overcrowded wall socket. the shade is tall enough so that the light doesn't shine in my eyes directly. And to mute the light coming out of the top a bit more, I set a very small white plastic cutting sheet over the top, which I also use as my mouse pad while I'm sitting in bed. (The bulb is not hot because it's low voltage.) Nice design, solid item; fits several needs; stylish. And good service in response to my question to them.

This is a good-looking LED bedside lamp that casts pretty good area light and upward light to reflect off a wall and ceiling, and has a USB charging port that is slow (1 watt, I believe) but sufficient for overnight charging a phone or similar device. It won't sufficiently light a whole room, of course. Both the lamp and charger run off a single wall plug, saving some clutter and freeing a plug for something else. The lamp is a little taller than other similar designs, which casts more light in our specific setting, but not so tall that is risks falling over. It seems reasonably well made, and the pull-chain switch action feels and sounds solid. If this lamp looks like it would suit your particular use, you won't be disappointed.

I bought this lamp coming up on a year ago or so, and I'm still using it! It's small enough for my bedside table, and I use the USB port to charge my phone daily. It adds a touch of modernity to my room and puts off a decent amount of light. My only complaint is that the shade sits so close to the base, you often have to lift the shade to the side a bit to pull the on/off chain. It's really not a major inconvenience, but it's the one thing I would change about it. You're not getting the highest quality materials, but the price should tell you that! If you're on a budget and looking for a decent quality lamp that maintains functionality over a few years and looks nice, neat, and compact, you should buy.

Just got this lamp (two actually) to fill two dark spots in my kitchen. Wow - so impressed with a lamp at this price. It's really well made, has a handy USB port, and comes with a very nice lightbulb, too. The packaging protected the lamp shade and bulb, and the lamp took about a minute to easily assemble. Although small and compact, this provides a nice shot of light - not too bright, not too dim. This looks much more expensive than the price. I really liked the pull cord rather than those fussy on-the-plug on-off switches. I highly recommend this lamp (get a pair - you'll use them somewhere!).

I don't know if Brightech makes these or resells them but this lamp is a winner. It looks great on a desk or bedside table. It's bright yet not obtrusive. The built-in USB port means you can plug in your gear and recharge. Even the pull chain looks great.The pictures I took were during the day but with my curtains and blinds closed. The lamp is 5 inches wide and a tad over 14 inches tall. The power cord is about 3 feet long but I didn't measure that.This is my second Brightech lamp and I'm already looking at additional Brightech lamps for other rooms. They are just awesome.

Love this lamp. I bought two and put one in the bedroom and one next to the desk computer. I love these two lamps because there is no glare from them. I find the glare from a lamp to be exceedingly irritating, and it also makes me too warm. I love the pull chain; so many now are touch-controlled nowadays. Also love that there is a USB port. Simple and classy. Well protected in terms of packaging. Very prompt delivery. Excellent product.

It works, and it looks OK, until you get up close. The thing is so late, it will blow over with a path of a dog’s breath. It’s nice that has a charger port built-in, though. I would not look to this to be a durable, long-term item. I guess it is a good value for the money I guess it is a good value for the money and is what it is.

This is the perfect bedside lamp, just the right size. What I love most is tha the shape and size of the shade insures you are not blinded by the glare of the bulb because the light is being directed upward. Plenty of light with the included bulb to read. What my guest love most is the easy access to the USB port for charging their phone. The only con I have is there is no real selection of base color. I love that it is wood, but different stains (such as a lighter more natural look) would be nice.
