European Classic Card Games Set -- Baraja Espanola Cards and Ligretto Set

I ordered this game "set" twice, but on both ocassions received only the Ligretto game (no Baraja Espanola card game so this is NOT A GAME SET). The Ligretto cards are nice, but the box is a really crappy promo box that I had to reinforce so it doesn't get destroyed quickly. The box is about twice as large as it needs to be and it's made of thin cardboard, as is the insert. I returned one of the game "sets" and Amazon provided a partial refund on teh second "set" I ordered to account for the missing game. Overall, disappointing experience with this order, but imagine we'll enjoy the Ligretto game we received.

It's a good deal.... but there are somethings you might need to know.1) the picture makes it look like 4 games - it's only 3.2) The Ligretto box is huge compared to its contents. There are about 3 standard decks worth of cards in this box that could easily hold 10 times that much. The Scopa box is oversized too, but not as much.3) If you are just looking for game play - you could play pretty much all the games here with 4 (or fewer) standard decks of cards with different backs. The instructions for all these games are online (free and legally) just google for them.4) The Scopa cards are by far the best looking. The Baraja Spanish cards are interesting, but the lowest quality.

Be aware, however, Scopa no longer included. The Baraja cards are the same as a standard deck (13 per suit) ... so presumably don't need this set to actually play. Having said that, for this price point ... great deal for Ligretto alone (and it is a great game). Dutch Blitz is the exact same game by another name.

Bought this for our all time favorite "family fun night" game. Ligretto!!! Best.Game.Ever.Bonus that it was such an incredible price & came with other games that we look forward to learning.

Fun games for a friend from Italy!

I bought this because it was a great price for Ligretto alone, which is what I wanted. We've had fun playing Scopa and the kids like to use an Italian accent while playing it.

If you have not tried these games yet, it is about time you do. Fun for the whole family :)
