The basket is very light with soft grip plastic and it's very low profile when folded. I've used baskets like this for years and it's thinnner and lighter. Not sure how this will relate to sturdiness, but so far so good.

I have used these for years for taking laundry to the washing line and back. Mine finally broke and when this one arrived I could see straight away it’s not as sturdy. This one just falls apart when carrying. To be fair the description does not say suitable for that purpose so as a storage basket that you don’t move it would be fine but if like me you want to carry things in it, I don’t think it’s up to the job.

I bought these specifically for the Online grocery shopping, which is delivered in crates without being bagged, makes easy transfer from the retailer's box to mine whilst checking that all items are delivered any frozen items can be transferred to the freezer quickly whilst all the other items can be put away in your own time. As the crates collapse, they are easy to store in a small space.

I use this just to throw dirty rugby boots/wellies in back of car.

Had these before, in the past they've lasted a long time with no problems, tried a different type completely,failed after 1 month, so I've gone back to this type.

I have found this to br ideal if you want a collapsible crate for shopping or temporary storage.

These crates are great as long as you don't want to move them! As soon as you lift them.the bottoms fall off. They were only filled with t shirts!But they do look nice in the cupboard on the shelf and do keep everything tidy so not a complete waste of my money.
