Premium Faux Leather Upholstery Fabric 1.2mm Thickness，Waterproof Upholstery Leather Distressed Bark Fabric(Light Brown,Pre-Cut 72"x54")

The material is a bit lighter in color than I'd hoped for. But works with our existing chairs. Looks like real leather. It's stretchable and easy to work with. I was able to cover 6 chairs - start to finish - in one day. But it was work. You'll probably want to replace your existing foam pads. We used (2) 2'x6'x2" pads, and cut them with a sharp knife. Thee are plenty of videos online for how to do this. But basically you remove the seat, remove the existing covrers and foams (and all those dang staples). Then you cut the new foam to about a half inch oversize. And stretch the covers across front/back, and then over the sides (pulling everything tight). The corners are then overlaid by pulling tightly with some folds. You'll also want to cover the bottom with some cambric cloth for a better appearance and dust protection, before replacing the seats on the chairs.

This vinyl was perfect for recovering our dining booth! I wanted something durable and attractive and easy to work with, this leather look vinyl really impressed me. The color and quality were perfect, shipping is always a plus and cost was great.

I bought two different colors to see which matched my house best. Love the Light Brown (I don’t think that’s a good color name. It’s cognac.) the Khaki was also pretty but doesn’t match. It has a bit of stretch and thickness was perfect, but it was definitely tough to go all the was around a circular surface. See pics. Yes there was a smell but it went away before I finished upholstering over the course of a week.I would order again knowing what color I like.I would not order two colors again and try to return. Trying to return the second color and Amazon won’t let me.I would love if the seller reached out and we could make this right. The product is still in its original packaging, I just wanted to option to choose between two colors and now I’ve essentially been double charged.

okay this fabric is high quality for the price, and SO EASY to work with. It stretches a lot on the length side, yes it has a smell but you’re buying fabric from Amazon… it goes away quick so get over it. I threw mine in the dryer on medium for 1 minute increments to get the creases out and it worked well and also helped alleviate the smell. Super happy with it and now trying to find other things in the house to reupholster with this fabric. Looks great!

My first part of order came today its Defou distressed bark faux leather.i opened the box and it looks like a flannel blanket oh no.i unfolded a little bit leaving it still wrapped and i started a return.then i decided to take it from wrapper and examineTo my surprise and embarrassment the back side is the leather face side and exactly what i ordered.it is my mistake but a note to explain in the wrapper would have been nice.1or2 edges are cloth faced about 1/2inch on the face it is very easy to mistake for a baby bed blanket without totally unfolding and turning over.But still my fault my apologies to amazon

Molto pratico

As others have mentioned, this faux leather material does have a smell, but after leaving the material unfolded in another room for a few days to air out, the smell is fading quickly.Looking online, a smell does seem to be common with these types of PU faux leather materials; but with good quality versions, the smell wears off quite soon with airing; not so with poorer quality versions. (Bear in mind that even real leather usually has its own smell too which wears off with airing/time.)I used the faux material to upholster the top of a footstool because the previous cotton material was wearing thin. The faux material is not thick so was very easy to cut and sew (with regular scissors/needle). It looks like grained patterned leather and just like the photos in the advertisement (the light brown option), with a soft material on the underside which is in a lighter tan colour.On day four of airing out the material, I can now use my newly upholstered footstool and can't smell the material (unless my face is right next to it, but then it's a very faint smell - I expect zero smell in a week or two). The faux material looks like it will be hard-wearing and last many years.
