How much elemental magnesium does this product contain? Does it have any other form of magnesium in addition?

I believe has 5-6% elemental magnesium is what Gluconate has. You need to take like 8grams of it in order to get 400mg recommended dosage. This is why you should buy it in bulk. The scam supplement companies will never tell you this, selling you pills so underdosed, you may put yourself in harm way. If your doctor tells you you need 400mg of magnesium, you should inquire of which kind as they all have various effects from calm to energy. As well as different elemental content and different absorption rate. If you want to poop, take oxide. If you want energy - malate. Want just good magnesium, then gluconate, glycinate or lactate dehydrate. Just be aware of the dosages. Oxide has 60% of elemental magnesium (eg. 500mg will have 300mg) but only 5% will be absorbed. Gluconate has about 5% of elemental magnesium,but most of it will be absorbed. 500mg will have only about 25mg of magnesium... If your doctor recommended you take 400mg, you will need to take half of this bottle lol

Reasonable. If you swallow food you can swallow this pill

Is there 500mg or 27mg? The label is confusing.

There is 27mg of magnesium in each pill. But these pills seem to be good as the magnesium seems to get absorbed by my body without digestive issues which magnesium is know to cause. I would recommend these.
