This Oxbow Timothy Hay provides a consistent, high-quality option that keeps my rabbit and guinea pig eating well while supporting their digestive health. The texture is fresh and fibrous as expected, though the 15 oz bag does run out fairly quickly if you have more than one small pet, so larger quantities may be needed for convenience. I’m really happy to have it and already looking forward to using it more in the future because it’s reliable, nutritious, and clearly enjoyed by my pets.

This is the only hay my piggy will eat lately. He will actually turn his nose up at most hays and go without eating any! I finally i found this good deal and it’s fresh and green and he loves it! I recommend getting some gloves though bc it is jammed packed inside of the bag and it hurts your hands when you try to pull it out!

I only feed my rabbits Oxbow hay and good. It’s high quality and ingredients. My rabbits love it. I feed my young bunnies alfalfa hay from Oxbow. I keep my hay on subscribe and save.

I’ve been using Oxbow Western Timothy Hay for my rabbits, and the quality has been consistently excellent. The hay is fresh, green, and smells clean—not dusty or stale like some other brands I’ve tried. You can tell it’s been properly harvested and stored. My rabbits took to it immediately, and they go through it quickly, which tells me it’s palatable and not overly coarse. The strands are a good mix of long and medium pieces, which helps keep them engaged while also supporting digestion and dental health. I also appreciate that this hay is high in fiber and specifically formulated for small pets like rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas. It doesn’t aggravate allergies as much as some cheaper hays, and there’s very little waste at the bottom of the bag. The 40 oz bag is a good size for regular use, and while it costs a bit more than generic hay, the quality difference is absolutely worth it. This is one of the few brands I trust to be consistent.

My 2 Bunnies have been raised on this Hay. They are 5 yrs old and are happy and healthy. I have 2 Large plastic cat Litter Boxes. In them I put a thick bottom layer of any kind of paper. (My old mail or advertising brochures i get at the grocery store) Then i add a layer of Timothy Hay. The Bunnies will go to the bathroom in one half of the Litter Boxes and eat the Timothy Hay on the other clean half of the litterbox. I clean the boxes every 3 or 4 days. They also get fresh greens in the Morning and Evening. Cilantro is their Favorite. 2 Bowls of Fresh Water are always available. Oxbow Western Timothy Hay has kept my two Bunnies happy and healthy!

I've been buying this hay for over a year. It is always great quality. I love that the top is resealable; however, my one complaint is that you have to use quite a bit of hay at the top before you're actually able to reseal the bag.

Expensive? A bit, but worth it. My guinea pigs love it. Virtually dust free, smells lovely. Would definately recommend this above any other I've tried, and so would the piggies 😀.
