Did I get lucky? I don't care. This is my very first UV/LED lamp. I've never tried gel polish before and I use the press on KISS nails. I'm tired of the paint/design chipping or wearing off the nails. Even using a clear coat nail polish, which never lasts. I bought the Beetles no wipe to coat and used a single, thin, top coat. I cured it for 60 seconds and my nails are DRY! My hands never burned, no weird smell from the lamp, it turned on when I put my hands in and turned off once the timer expired. I was having fun, so I used a servings coat, curd again for 60 seconds, same results. The opening is wide, I have no fear of bumping my hand on the opening. Very surprised at how very light weight the lamp is. I love the handle, easy carry over to my "nail" table. The cord is nice and long another great feature. I'm very impressed with this, you don't need to spend a lot to get a great product. I'm also impressed that these work on my $8 full press on nails YAY! Can't wait to get some nails with rhinestones and use the gel polish to keep them perfect for the 2 weeks I wear my nails. I'll update if there are any issues.

Has been working great for over a year now, it stopped working randomly the other day but started working again after some time. I had reviewed it at 1 star due to the issue but it resolved itself so if it remains functional it’s been a great tool!

Recently decided to start doing my own acrylic gel mails and struggled to figure out which LED UV lamp to use that would be professional level since I don't have 8 hrs leisure time to do my nails and budget wise going to get them done often to keep th up properly. I must have looked at dozens on Amazon and watched countless reviews but no one showed no description stated if the lamp was capable of doing Acrylic Gel Nails using builder Gel. I rolled the sice got this lamp. We'll I am Impressed! Yes it is as the box states professional led uv lamp. It retains last setting it can do by timer the hood comes off should you want to do toes or perhaps even pour the resin making trays and such gifts too. I had both hands Gel filled in a couple of hours sand filled cured French tips and all. Tickled with this lamp. I have even recommended to my daughter and purchase this one. It's package nice quality appearance is pretty and works so good. Awesome lamp.

Update: I was prepared to bump this review up a few stars just for customer service as the company reached out offering a full refund. Obviously I went to accept and thought that it was excellent customer service just for it to turn around really quickly with them asking me to provide pictures I couldn't provide as I had already disposed of this lamp. After that they asked for my name and address so they could "send me another." Obviously asking for my personal info outside of Amazon is not ok and a big red flag and I didn't give that info to them but, again, this was supposed to be a refund offer. Now they just haven't gotten back to me as I told them I had already purchased another brand and didn't need another lamp. If I could make this negative stars at this point I would. I won't be doing business with this company again. I've now redone my nails 4 times thinking I was doing something wrong, despite never having this issue before, and it dawned on me that I never used this lamp before. I just pulled this one out of the box because my last one finally bit the dust. My other one had more life left in it than I thought which is why it wasn't opened until it was right outside of the return period as it goes... But I used my mini lamp on one hand when I suspected this and used this lamp on the other and sure enough it's the lamp which is frustrating. It's my own fault for not testing it the second I got it, hard lesson learned, but I won't be getting this one again and don't recommend it.

Its a good lamp BUT i went through 2 of them and each time they just stopped working. The lights dont turn on. You get what you pay for. It does work great when it does turn on and cures nails fast but will eventually quit working.
