Picked up a pair of the 8 inch speakers for my truck.. I recently added a pair of subs and the factory mid range speakers just weren't cutting it anymore.. These speakers dropped right into the boxes I bought without any problems.. I hooked them up to an old 50x4 Sony amplifier from the early 2000s and an mtx 3 way digital crossover that's just as old.. I set the low range filter at 63hz and the high range filter to 4k.. I'm really impressed with how they sound and they aren't really broken in yet.. They more than filled in the mid range tones that were missing from my stereo and they even added some volume to the higher end of the low bass tones .. I was only planning on using these temporarily until I could get something something better, but these are going to stay in my truck for as long as they hold, and Im going to order a pair of the 6.5s also to swap out my door speakers.. The 50 watts is perfect to push them.. I can pretty much turn my stero up all the way and they don't start distorting until the last last couple clicks.. I would recommend these speakers to anyone looking for good midrange drivers.. It's hard to beat them for the price..

I purchased this speaker for a DIY project and was very pleased with how it turned out. I integrated it with a WMYCONGCONG TPA3118 amplifier from Amazon and placed it in a 5 inch square box (SKU: 1431709) from Hobby Lobby. I sprayed the speaker and the enclosure with Thompson's water seal and now I have an outdoor speaker for under $10.

Kind of a weird use case I'm sure, but I have a 99 Miata and wanted to bypass the factory Bose amp, but the factory 8" component speakers are 1 ohm (which would kill any radio). I ordered speakers that didn't fit the day before and wanted to get the project done before the weekend, and these were "next day" so figured for the price, why not. I like they are full range, not much bass, but you don't get much bass with the top down anyway. These also let me use the factory tweeters and now it's much louder which is a must with the top down. I bought them to get me by, but might actually try them out for a while!

Simply put, these are junk. Out of the box, they looked decent. Wired them up in an old Polk box, sounded ok below 30db, once higher, both coils were rattling terribly and speakers blew within a minute. Magnets pop right off with no resistance. Don't waste your money.

The 2 speakers in a box, that's two 8" subwoofers, that was great for the price within itself then they sound good 4ohms.. not sure of the wattage but so far so good. The draw back was the metal housing of the back of the speaker appeared to be used and the magnet has some damage to it, I ordered these speakers new, the cone looked like new and the top of the speaker looked new.. These are generic speakers, know brand name printed on them nowhere and they didn't even come in a branded box, they were zip tied togetherin my opinion they are factory rejects... but they still work and produce good sound they are being sold at a lower price.. my opinion.. but I would by from them again since the speakers work and look ok for the price I paid.Updated. Just order some 5" speakers same company and one of the cones had a hole in it.Updated. I sent the damage speaker back and they exchanged it for another one got in about 3-4 days.. the new speaker cone sent was in good condition

The speakers are built with good material and will make a great stock replacement for any car. The quality control area of the seller needs attention. My issue was one speaker sounds and looks nice. However the other sounds terrible. Upon further troubleshooting, I discovered that the problem is the voice coil on the cone is not centered around the magnet and when it flexes from the music the voice coil is dragging on the magnet. Other than that I would have given these speakers at least a 4 star review. I am a true believer of you get what you pay for. I am not returning. I will recenter the voice coil my self and possible have a descent replacement for another time.
