Better than factory part
After the first pad wore out, I replaced it with the Makita replacement part which cost over $40. That one wore out in less than a year. I just started using this cheaper version and am already loving it. The hook/loop seems to have a much stronger grip on the sanding disks. Plus, there are ventilation holes around the perimeter, which seems to allow for more suction for the dust extraction. Also comes with an assortment of hardware and and Allen wrench. Let’s see how this one holds up.
