I'm giving this item 5 stars although the product title is a little misleading as it states "removable FLAT dish." The removable dish is NOT flat. In fact it moves around when removed from the base and my cats think it's a game as they paw at it, trying to get it to keep moving in circles. Not very funny when it's full of food as I'm trying to place it back into the base container before they spill it. Despite all that, I LOVE this dish; both the stainless steel removable part, and the base that can hold treats, dry food or even some water, especially when traveling. I LOVE this product so much that I'd like to purchase a couple more so that my cats can have one each for wet food, and another one for dry food. When I adopted my cats, one was throwing up her food quite regularly. I changed the food and also the dish. Both seem to have helped. The 1/2 cup stainless steel dish size is just perfect for cats (and probably very small dogs as well). 5 stars for size, functionality, product quality, good height for cats to eat comfortably, not to mention a nice, sleek design in beautiful colors. Also, I thought it would be noisy as my cats eat out of it, but it's nice and quiet and the base is very stable. I will purchase again! PS. I also bought some of the replacement stainless steel dishes directly from the seller as it's not sold on Amazon.

Not only is this cat/dog food bowl super stylish, the design is brilliant. I got the small size for my 10-pound cat and it's larger than I expected. It's the perfect cat size and it would also work well for a small dog. If you have a finicky cat or dog who doesn't eat their wet food right away or only eats a little food now and the rest later, this bowl is a total game changer because you can put ice in the base, below the bowl, and it keeps the food in the bowl cool. The stainless bowl is top quality and there's a notch in the base so that the bowl stays in place. The acrylic base takes it up another level because it's just cool and unique, and I love the blue-turquoise color. Very mid-century modern, in my opinion. I'm so pleased with this purchase. It was totally worth the money and it'll last a long time.

Best cat bowl ever. My cat used to take very long to eat. With this bowl he is much more comfortable and the food doesn't push to the bowl walls. It also is not touching his whiskers. Great design.

Cons: The indentation along the outer bowl to secure the inner bowl's handle is not marked and can be difficult to find. I bought two bowls, one of the handle's finish is sharper than the other. Pros: Sturdy construction as bowl remains in place during feeding. Low profile can reduce my cat's whisker fatigue. Easy to clean.

I purchased these bowls as my cat will be having surgery and needs something easier for him to reach, plus this is a better option in general, and not just for my original reason. They are colorful, sturdy, and they don't slip, as there is clear rubber around the bottom, it's perfect. The package it comes in is impressive as well. Kudos

Bought 3 for my cats and have not had any problems. Easy to wash and the shape is better for their necks as they eat.

Pour le moment mes chats se méfient. C'est un plastique épais et de belle qualité, un bol en inox très qualitatif à première vue.. mais j'ai pas l'impression que ça aide au repas. Le cou de mon chat reste quand même bien penché. Finalement c'est assez imposant pour une toute petite contenance dans le bol en inox. Un peu démesuré. J'espère que mes chats s'y feront !

I purchased the shallow bowl because both of my Persians have flat faces. They both love their bowls. The stainless steel bowl part is removable for easy cleaning. The bottom of the bowl is a very high-quality plastic, but not the type that will break easy overall I’m extremely happy with my purchase and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a luxury bowl.
