nice and easy to read in a busy boat
Nice weight, not too heavy but not flimsy light duty, easy for me to read quickly and accurately, finish is holding up well so far.

Sturdy. Numbering is good.
Good value. The longer ruler is better than the frabill one that is too short. Quality is good. It is pretty thick. We screwed it to the deck and it makes it easy to measure halibut or striper that are close to the size limit. It isnt high enough to trip over, but is thick enough to be sturdy.

Invaluable tool to have on your fishing boat!
This fish ruler is the bomb! Excellent quality anodized aluminum with engraved markings. I'm located in northern california, and we fish in the SF bay every weekend during halibut season and as of late there have been a lot of shaker/undersized fish. This is a surefire measuring method to NOT GET A TICKET. If you fish in the SF bay and you launch out of Berkeley or Richmond marinas DFG WILL BE THERE WAITING to check your haul. Don't get caught short! Pick one of these up for a quick, easy, accurate measurement on your catch!

I got 2, great for boat and dock
It is durable. I mounted on boat with velcro so it's out of the way until I need it. Mounted 2d on dock fish board with screws. Dislike the measurements don't start until 10" so you can't use for small pan fish. Also wish they hadn't put the sticker on the measuring side. I'm not pulling off as I don't want to pull off me markers.

Nice big ruler!
A nice upgrade over the smaller one it replaced. Solid and sturdy, plus it looks good. Worth the $20.

NOT ACCURATE- shorts you 1/4”.
This product is complete garbage. It measures 10-1/4 inches to the 10” mark, shorting your fish by 1/4”. This cost me $500 in a tournament in which my fish came in tied with another angler lengthwise but he caught his first so he won the prize $. Unfortunately I found out the boards measurement is off after the tournament but luckily before I use it again!
