*Edit: noticed a lot of reviews are about how hard it is to remove this mascara - as someone who’s used waterproof mascara for years, always use a cleansing balm to remove waterproof mascara. It’s the only way to avoid damaging and losing your eyelashes. Don’t rub your eyelashes off with makeup remover or water. There’s a cheap cleansing balm from Elf that will last you forever and won’t damage your eyelashes when trying to remove the mascara. Just use a bit and rub it on your lashes for 30 sec, wait a minute or so then wash it off.* This Romand mascara has officially replaced Heroine as my everyday mascara. I have straight thick Asian eyelashes that will never hold a curl (even a lash lift/perm cannot keep them curled). The mascara I have used with for the past 5 years is the Japanese “Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl” mascara. It was my go to and I always recommended it to my other Asian friends who have the same problem as me with regular mascaras. My only problem with it was the under eye smudging after just a few hours. This Romand mascara has lasted all throughout my 9 hour work day without smudging. My curl is still perfect, my lashes still look long and haven’t dropped at all. I never write reviews. But what convinced me to write this review was after my 9 hour work day, I went to my therapist, cried for an hour, and my mascara still looks untouched. No smudging. Lashes still look great. I thought nothing would be able to replace my heroine mascara because it was the only thing that worked with me for such a long time. Happy to say you should buy the romand mascara if you have the same problem as me :)

I found this brand when searching for a gray mascara. This is great! The brush is very thin but it applies a perfect amount. It extends my lashes without the fibre look. Lashes look very natural. It stays on forever. That might be my one complaint. Even with make up remover balm or micellar water it is hard to come off. I bought gray and brown. I’d say the gray looks black, but not a harsh black. Brown is brown. I will repurchase.

OMG!! The best mascara ever for short, straight Asian lashes!! I’m in my late 40’s and over the years has given up on wearing mascara completely because nothing made my lashes look longer or fuller! I saw a video where the influencer said this was the best mascara for short, straight Asian lashes so I thought I’d give it a try. All I did was curled my lashes than applied 2 coats. My lashes has never looked so great without having to wear false lashes!! I’m hooked!!

I don’t know why people complain about it being hard to remove. It’s waterproof so of course it’s harder to remove than regular mascara. I use an oil cleanser (skin1009 Madagascar centella light) and it comes off just fine. I put the oil cleanser directly on my lashes and coat it really well, then rub my lashes and wash off the cleanser. Then I use a q-tip soaked in the cleanser to remove any excess mascara and wash it off. I’m okay with the extra step of removing the excess mascara because it lasts all day and holds a curl really well. It also clumps up nicely to give an idol/manga style lash look. I really love the brown color, it’s a nice chocolate brown. Edit: I switched to the face shop rice bright cleansing oil and that seems to remove it even easier. This is my 3rd time buying this mascara. Still a favorite!

Immediate and major reaction to product. Apparently this is common. If you don’t have a reaction the product would be good. It does lengthen the lashes.

My favorite mascara and I am a mascara junkie! Beautiful color for my fair complexion, blue eyes and white hair; not harsh. The mascara doesn’t rub off, leave your lashes if you tear up, it’s on until you take it off. I have long lashes and this covers them to the tips.

Easy to apply and does separate and curl gently. However, it’s very stubborn to remove and left my lashes feeling brittle and dry. I’ll use for special occasions only.

Colors a bit lighter than expected but the skinny wand is amazing !!! It feels a bit weird once put in stiff but greasy ???? Idk if anyone else had this issue . But over all it's okay

Ho fatto bene a fidarmi delle recensioni. Questo mascara tiene finalmente le ciglia in piega rispetto ad altri più blasonati e cari che non mi garantivano lo stesso effetto. Ho scelto il colore marrone poiché cercavo qualcosa per un make-up più leggero ed è effettivamente un bel colore. Sulla rimozione alcuni si lamentavano: io utilizzo la doppia detersione e posso dire che con il primo step oleoso viene via tranquillamente senza lasciare aloni o residui. Durata ottima, anche tutto il giorno. Promosso e consigliato.

Every mascara I’ve tried smudges under my eyes, but not this one! I love it.

My favorite mascara by far. Beautiful lashes, no flaking/crumbling og smudging. The only drawback is that it's difficult to remove.

This is the best mascara I’ve ever bought! Holds a curl so perfectly, is truly waterproof and I love the shade. Definitely buy the right makeup remover though or you will not get it off - I’ve attached a picture of the one I use and it comes off easily without losing lashes
