K10.2 Active 10" Powered 2000 Watt Loudspeaker

Nice speaker / monitor . I did return it though because I didn’t like the LCD screen , small and hard to see . I’m more for the retro knobs .

I’m selling my older QSC K12’s and upgrading to this model. It’s lighter, better mic quality and 2000 watts! I like the slick design. A friend of mine’s knob got knocked off and the screen won’t read and speaker won’t play… that is a concern but that was also user error. I dig this speaker so far and I’m buying another real soon.

I was excited to hear the additional 1K power difference then my current QSC K10. I didn't hear it. I mounted them on a side by side bracket put the same signal to them set the same power at 50%. an experienced the exact same listening experience. I wasn't expecting that surprise. I was expecting the 10.2 to be much louder at thesetting. There are other feature that make the K10.2 different but if you are looking for more power only my test showed they were the same. I love QSC products but didn't see the power change in this products. I expect the RMS remains the same even with the 2K power.

I'm sure this is an amazing speaker. This review is aimed solely towards Amazon. Upon receiving this speaker it was blatantly obvious that the box had been previously opened as shown in the picture of me pulling it out of the mail locker. Once opened, there were scratches on the top and back of the unit. I plugged in the speaker and noticed that once powered on, that they were not at the default DSP settings that I've seen in all of the unboxing videos of this series of speakers. This speaker has obviously been used and returned. In my experience with Amazon, this speaker would have had to have gone through 4 departments before being shipped... Again, I know this speaker is great, but if I wanted to purchase a used speaker, I would have purchased a used speaker...

I used this as a FRFR speaker and the sound was excellent. I ended up returning it for one reason. I usually play at bedroom volume levels and with that the cooling fan become very noticeable and annoying. Aside from that it was fantastic. Great features and sound, so if you play at higher volumes or don't sit 3 feet from it where the fan will be audible I would be surprised if this was not to your liking.

This is my favorite speaker to use as a monitor speaker for the band and vocalists.

This setup was in a warehouse with 2 of the K10.2s, 2 of the K10s, and an EON JBL subwoofer. WE rocked the building. If your ears are quality sensitive you must upgrade your system to the QSC K.2 series. The K series are amazing but the K.2 series is simply orgasmic.

These speakers sound great for the money, and I specifically like the quality of the high mids to highs. You will not be dissatisfied with these speakers.
