This is great! I've been using a metal prong collar but it's a pain to buckle it half the time and my pooch doesn't like it. This is less intrusive on his neck; I should have bought this years ago because my boy pulls like a sled dog and this slows him down and helps me tremendously.

I have purchased so many different type of behavior collars /harnesses and none of them did what they claim , ACCEPT this one. With in 2 days I’ve been able to control my doodle on walks and without treats. So pleased with this collar. I wouldn’t use the metal type cuz they can pierce the skin and can be harmful. It’s durable, you can size it and it’s safe. My fur baby is 2 1/2 and I wish I had this collar so much sooner, better later than never the saying goes. Highly recommend this collar for anyone experiencing walking or behavior problems. I tug up on the collar the second he wants to do his thing and he stops dead in his tracks now! I’ve been using it for approximately 2 weeks. I can’t say enough about this collar, worth the money and more!

I never write reviews, but this time I had to. This puppy is so cute, but so dumb, and would not stop pulling. The first time I used the collar- what a difference! We've been paying the dog walker to walk the 2 dogs separately but now they can be walked together. The puppy pulled my fiancee's shoulder out and now we don't have to worry about that anymore. Also, now I can easily stop him from eating every rock in his path by gently holding his neck up with this collar. Brilliant!

I loved the collar, I have a 5 mo old Shiloh Shepard, which is considered a giant breed. I wanted to start him young eliminating jumping and pulling as he will grow to be close to 120 pounds. I found the metal prong collar to be too intense as these dogs have a lot of fluffy fur and big heads, but relatively small/skinny necks. Finding a correction collar in general has been a struggle, as the recommended martingale collar is only good for moderate training. This collar hit all the marks, it was a good fit, had the desired reaction of a metal prong, but without any injury to my pup or making me feel a abusive. He heels like a pro and has lessened his jumping and I only use it once and awhile I don’t leave it on all the time, it isn’t necessary for him he only needs a few corrections and he learns real quick. I gave it 3 starts for “easy to use” bc I jabbed my finger pretty bad trying to remove a link.

Our 12 lb. Cavapoo was a complete maniac on walks. Pulling us down the street, barking and lunging at passing cars. It had gotten to the point that we dreaded taking him for a walk. We met a man on a walk who noticed what he was doing and he recommended this collar. I went home and immediately ordered it. Was not expecting much because we thought we had tried everything but was willing to give it a shot. Omg, put it on him and headed out the door and he immediately responded by walking calmly and acting like a normal dog! No pulling, no lunging & barking at passing cars. He is a completely different dog! So happy, I can’t even begin to tell you how much!! Thank u!!!!!

I should have gotten a collar that was a little more noticeable to my dog. This collar did not give enough of “message” to stop pulling.

Easy to apply. Good quality plastic. My neighbor had one so I thought I’d try it. They really love there’s. I have a traditional metal pinch collar also. It seems heavy. I have a Lab that’s still a puller. I use this one for walks around the neighborhood. The metal one for high traffic areas where I really need her to

Size and fit are important for this kind of collar and the plastic-link pinch collar is well designed for easy adjustment. We have purchased a few of these collars over the years for our large dogs. BEWARE of this company's upsell pricing strategy: The "size-large" Ram-Pro Dog Training Pinch Collar includes only 8 links, which is 2 3/4" too short for the average large dog. It takes actually 10 links to fit our average sized Weimaraners and Labs in the "large dog" class. On Amazon, the collar is sold as size 'small' and size 'large' only. No extra-large. Also offered and is a package of 3 links for about 40% of the cost of the whole collar. So if you are buying one of these "large" 8-link collars for an average large dog, be sure to order the additional 3 link package at additional cost. Note: An 11 link Ram-Pro pinch collar is a bit too big for an average large dog. Save the extra link in case you want to buy more of these good collars in the future.

Almost instant results after I put this product on my dog. Leash pulling problem solved so quickly.

I have only used this for 2 walks with my 6 month old Lab since getting it, but what a difference. I don’t get home from our walks completely frazzled, with my arm about to fall off. Walks had been going well till he reached 4 months old, and as he got bigger, it just became so unenjoyable, especially with my 6 year old home for the summer and along for our daily walks. I have taken him both times with just myself to make sure it was going to work, and it has made an amazing difference. My son will be joining us for our walk tomorrow! Highly recommend.

Bought this for our Mastiff puppy to help with control. As he grew we were able to add the pieces, much like you would to extend a watch bracelet links. When he got too big I bought a 2nd one and used some of the new links to extend the old one. Given it's all plastic I had concerns that it would eventually break at one of the link connection points, but it lasted for almost a year until he got too big. It's much stronger than it seems. Highly recommended.
