My Cadillac SUV came without a spare tire...I had to purchase a full size tire and rim after the fact...This thing has been a perfect solution to my dilemma...If I carry the spare in the cargo area, there is no room for anything else...I AM COMPLETELY PLEASED WITH THIS THING!!!

Instructions were straight forward about assembling the hitch and all hardware was there. I would have liked to have an illustration added to the instructions about getting the tire mounted to the hitch. I also went out and got some locking washers to add to the tire mounting hardware for better security. I will be ordering a hitch tightener as well. Other than that, the hitch is sturdy and the hinge to get the tire out of the way of the hatchback is a good plus.

Came in the box looks like it might have been used. Didn't even come with instruction hardware. DONT BUY

The fit inside of my vehicles' trailer hitches is very loose causing a lot of side-to-side rotational movement. This results in some awful metal-on-meral creaking type noises which is unpleasant especially when off-roading and making me think that something's wrong with my SUV. The design is cheap but effective overall, and this is a great budget-friendly tire mount, but I cannot recommend it for anyone serious about driving anywhere other than on a road. Dirt roads with lots of bumps will beat the hell out of this spare tire mount.

i like my product, but i got a torn up box and no bolts and nuts bacause they feel out. i do not like ups shipping ! i get some of my stuff scratched and no bolts .
