Lavazza Qualità Rossa, Nespresso Compatible Aluminium Capsules, Zero CO2 Impact, 30 Count

Picked up this Lavazza Qualità Rossa capsule pack while it was on special, and I’m glad I did. The coffee is lovely: rich, full-bodied, with smooth chocolate notes and a satisfying depth thanks to the Arabica and Robusta blend. It’s an intensity 10/13, so it’s bold without being overpowering, perfect for a morning boost or an afternoon treat. Lavazza’s reputation speaks for itself - founded in Turin in 1895, they’re one of Europe’s largest and most respected coffee roasters. Their blends are known for consistency, flavour, and expert roasting, and this one’s no exception. The aluminium capsules are compatible with Nespresso Original machines and offer a clean, reliable brew every time, with the added bonus of zero CO₂ impact. Yes, the regular price is a bit higher than some alternatives, but you’re paying for genuine Italian quality and a flavour profile that’s hard to beat. I am in love with these Lavazza Rossa coffee pods! The flavour is everything I want in a morning pick-me-up: rich, intense, and full-bodied without being bitter. There’s a real depth to the blend that makes each cup feel like a little luxury, and the aroma alone is worth waking up for! These pods are also fantastic value for money — a premium-tasting coffee at a fraction of the price of a coffee shop visit. I’ve tried many different brands, but nothing quite hits the mark like Lavazza Rossa. It’s become my go-to, and I’ll definitely be stocking up again. Highly recommend to any coffee lover who appreciates a smooth yet robust espresso. Definitely five stars from me!

I bought this package largely because of the offer price of £24 (normally this pack is £44 at full price). Usually I prefer Illy, but it wasn't on offer and I was looking more for a good deal bulk buy on everyday coffee, so I thought I'd try it. This is actually pretty nice espresso, not THE best necessarily, but very good aroma and a fairly strong and pleasant flavour. At a reduced price like this I'd buy again, very good value.

Nice product, received very fast

I am really a Lavazza Fan, but the Qualità Rossa is pure cat's pee. To top it the red capsules may collapse in a DeLonghi machine or the perforation will fail and mostly a watery substance will emerge. Prick the top 4 times with a pin and you might obtain a cup of what Germans call "Bluemchenkaffee" or the worst kind of a filter coffee. Taste is simply abominable. No recommendation !

Tengo la máquina Nespresso desde hace unos 10 años. Básicamente sólo cogía cápsulas originales de su tienda aunque he ido probando otras marcas por curiosidad. La verdad es que se notaba la diferencia y además algunas de esas otras marcas atascaban la máquina (apenas salía el goteo y se notaba que le costaba mucho) con el riesgo de estropear el aparato, como así sospecho que le pasó a la de mi madre. También es verdad que he visto diferentes experiencias en la gente para una misma marca y quizás dependa del modelo de máquina. Las máquinas de Nespresso las fabricaban Krups y De'Longui, aunque ahora creo que ya no aparece la marca, por lo que no sé si es otro fabricante con licencia. En mi caso he poseído una Pixie de Krups. Yendo al grano, nunca mejor dicho, he tenido que coger estas cápsulas (La Rossa y la Crema e gusto forte) por Amazon ya que esta variedad no la he encontrado en el supermercado (sí otras 5 variedades de la misma marca, Lavazza). Entiendo que esto sucede porque no hay espacio en el lineal para tanta marca con sus variedades (Fortaleza, L'Or, Marcilla, Saimaza, Nescafé, Starbucks, Illy, Segafredo, Lavazza...). Personalmente suelo intentar coger cápsulas con licencia Nespresso (Nescafé y Starbucks), pero aquí entra el juego la calidad y el precio. Las originales Nespresso, que sólo se pueden coger en su tienda física u online) han subido mucho el precio y una caja de 10 cápsulas ha pasado en pocos años de entre 3 y 4 euros a prácticamente 6, con ediciones "especiales" de ¡12 euros! mientras que en las marcas de supermercado el rango puede ser incluso menos de 3 euros (Saimaza) a 5 euros (las 10 cápsulas). Eso ha hecho que cada vez coja más marcas compatibles, que además de mantener mejor el precio, han experimentado una notable mejoría, pareja al cambio que han hecho de sus cápsulas del plástico al aluminio, como siempre han sido las originales. Y dentro de estas marcas para mi gusto destacan las de Lavazza. Estas que he cogido en Amazon, y aparte de que me han gustado mucho (tienen cuerpo, espuma, ...) tienen muy buen precio. La única pega es que te ves obligado a coger 10 cajas (100 cápsulas) de una tacada. En mi caso, que me puedo tomar unos 4 cafés al día y que suelo aprovechar para regalar cajas a familiares que tienen la máquina, no es un trauma. 100 cápsulas no me duran ni un mes. En fin, para mí totalmente recomendables, y sin duda las que más me han gustado de todas las variedades de Lavazza. Pero claro, eso es subjetivo.
