Daytona HelmetsMotorcycle Half Helmet Skull Cap- Dull Black W/O Visor 100% DOT Approved

I got this helmet after having bought a scooter helmet from another brand only to find myself looking like Marvin the Martian. It was a size small, but it was ENORMOUS and I looked and felt ridiculous riding around.So, I searched for a helmet that would protect my noggin without making me topple over every time I cocked my head. This helmet did the trick. It isn't bulky, it fits my smaller head, fits inside the seat of my scooter, and the buckle device works kind of like rollerblade straps. The chin-strap is extremely easy to secure, and extremely easy - though not dangerously so - to release.My only criticism is...it smells kind of funny. I thought it might just need to air out a little, but I've worn it about 15 times and it still has a little bit of a plastic/cleaning solution stench. Odd, but not obnoxious. Otherwise, I'm very satisfied.

Took a risk buying the “used, like new” option for way cheaper $$ and the decision literally paid itself off. I got this Dayton helmet for way less and after receiving it and trying it on it went from my second option helmet to my everyday helmet. I would paid full price with zero regrets. Got the helmet in 4XL. I got a huge head and it fits great! I tried on Harley Helmets and this helmet not only fits better but was a fraction of the price. I didn't see pictures of the inside and still took the risk, yet another risky decision, but the helmet didn’t disappoint, it is well padded, light weight comfortable and very durable. I can honestly say I feel safe in it. The most impressive feature of this helmet in my opinion would be the chinstrap. Instead of a button up it’s a quick release clip chin strap pull buckle! Definitely more functional ! The mat black is definitely the way to go if your looking for something to decal and make your own. It’s a great color, true mat black. And no I don’t work for the company, I’m just a really satisfied customer that wants his brothers and sisters riding to get a good deal and great helmet! You won’t regret it!

Size at first felt a little small, but after a bit of riding, seemed to fit good. Before these we purchased full faced, and well I am happy to be back to a smaller helmet! Good purchase, lightweight, and very pleased!

We followed the measurement chart and they fit perfect! We bought 2 and we both love them, exactly what we were looking for!

Fit was great and it was sooo much better than I hoped for. Doesn't rock back while riding and doesn't feel like it's going to choke you going on a ride. Sits low on the head and have no issues with this helmet and a pair of shades on a ride. Material looks and feels really high quality- I was worried since it was such a great deal compared to similar ones.
