It works for now .
The long black piece is PLASTIC. Not what I'd hoped for. I just hope it doesn't melt since it's closer to the flame than I'd like for a bit of plastic. There is no info included to tell me if that part is rated for heat or to what temperature. It's in and it works but we shall see what happens in the winter when it gets some use.

Looks like it will work well but as of this date I have not tried to install. I am still trying to find a way to secure the valve to the fire pit. Quality of items looks great. Hope I can get it to work in my fire pit.
