I wanted to straighten up my laundry room and hang up my long-handled cleaning items. This holder looked like it would work well, as it is very similar to the ones we used at my last job. It uses roller balls to hold the long handled items in place and has fold-down hooks to hang smaller items. Installation was straight forward and they included a paper template, but I believe it would have gone quicker and been easier if I had had someone to hold it for me as I was marking the wall and installing the 6 screws. If you don’t have a long drill-bit extender, you will need to use a hand held screwdriver as I did, which takes more time and effort. I chose to install the hanger behind my laundry door so that I wouldn’t have to walk out into the sweltering garage every time I needed something. Unfortunately because of the narrow space left when the door is fully open, I am not able to hang certain items such as my Libman sponge-mop that has a protruding handle. Keep this in mind when choosing where to install your hanger.

Easy to install

Ok but broom likes to slide no matter how well I secure it. Does a great job of organizing, is sturdy and was easy to install.

Bought this item over a year ago now and it is still holding my broom, swifter, mop, and I hang/fill a large garbage bag of cans on it as well. Recommend 👍

Perfect for a small space--just what we needed

The product advertises "5 ultra-strong holders for holding objects with diameter between 1.03-1.06 inches", "spring loaded, double rubber gripped slots" and the seller "guarantee[s] nothing slips from [their] mop and broom holder organizer." Well, every single one of my broom and mop handles slide all the way down, stopping only because the top of each have a larger cap or hanging cap. This will happen over the course of 24 hours. The mechanisms are not spring-loaded, as advertised. Instead, the farther down they move, the more they are forced out against the handles/poles which provides the grip. Springs would definitely help here, but they use gravity to keep them at their lowest possible point. This gravity approach does not apply enough force perpendicular to the handle/pole to keep it from sliding over time. Very unfortunate. In writing this review, I referenced the product write-up for the quotes above. I was reminded of their money-back offer if the product allowed items to slip. I might take them up on that. Right now, none of my handles/poles slip all the way through (again, because of their toppers). What I am not keen on, however, is getting another holder/organizer which will require more holes in the wall - already, this one required six.
