are these made in China? and are they made with teflon?

Hello. Thank you for your question. We get our floss responsibly manufactured in China. The floss picks are made with corn PLA, bamboo charcoal fiber, vegan candelilla wax, and peppermint essential oil. It is free from Teflon and harmful Pfoa’s. We only use 3rd party vetted manufactures for fair labor and working conditions. This product has been vetted via TUV (a European organization) for fair working conditions and practices. It also is FDA certified and we also have Leaping Bunny certification as a company (this will be added to packaging soon). We always have the environment (and people) in mind (as we are environmentalists ourselves) when we choose to add a product to our product line, and spend 100’s of hours researching and testing. We are a small company with limited options for sourcing, so we do the best we can, ask lots of questions, and rely on 3rd party auditors.

What is the floss made from. I understand the pick/floss holder is a bamboo. Does the floss string contain plastic?

The floss is charcoal and bamboo

Can they be used with braces?

Hi! The pick end could definitely be used with braces, but from my understanding, you need a special threader to floss between braces, so I’m not sure the floss side would work with braces. Perhaps reach out to your orthodontist? Thank you for your question!
