After chemo I had the oddest symptom. My head was in a way burning. This cap gave me so much relief🙏🏽My family was so happy that I wasn’t in pain. I was running through the ice pacs but this cold cap was exactly what I needed! It helped the migraines too! And it has no odd plasticity smell!

If you try to assemble this while you’re having a migraine attack, of course it will be difficult. I assembled it and fit it for my head before I needed it. I keep it on a Tupperware bowl to hold its shape and store the whole thing in my freezer. When I need it, I drape a pillowcase over my head (because the freezer gets it too cold but the refrigerator isn’t cold enough for me), add the “helmet” and lie down on a soft pillow to protect the frozen bags from puncture, because I don’t know how durable they are when frozen solid. It works fantastically well! The only thing that would make it better would be ice packs that go below freezing and remain soft. Since they cost 3-4 times as much, I tried this one first and am glad I did.

I bought this after neck surgery when my whole head and neck were hurting. It worked very well over the top and back of my head, not as well on the neck. But it was pretty helpful for the overall pain. It's a little confusing to figure out how to get it strapped on right, but once on, you're free to walk around or even go to bed with it on. It stays in place. The ice packs are removable to re-freeze.
