I used to own a cheap polycarbonate chair mat, and honestly, it was a disaster. It cracked quickly, didn’t hold up, and was just plain awful. After that experience, I decided it was time to invest in a Vitrazza Glass Chair Mat—and let me tell you, it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. This chair mat is the epitome of quality. Not only is it sleek and durable, but it also provides an unbelievably smooth gliding experience for my desk chair. It feels premium in every way, and I honestly can’t find enough adjectives to express how much I love it. One more thing worth mentioning: the packaging was impeccable. The mat arrived totally secure and well-protected, which gave me even more confidence in the brand. If you’re on the fence, take the leap—it’s worth every penny!

My rating would be 4.5 if that were an option. I don't normally leave reviews because to each their own and what works or doesn't work for one person may not for another, but this was my first glass chair mat and when I was looking at the reviews there were a couple comments that made me hesitate that seem to be fixed issues now. First, my mat came with three different sizes of the plastic bumpers that go on the bottom, so I didn't have to ask for or wait for the ones I needed for thick carpet which means they must have listened to that suggestion. Second, the label that was on the glass peeled right off with no issues, so it seems they've changed the type of label they use on the glass, too. I'm pleased with it so far. It was well-packed. It holds up on my thick carpet, which was what I needed, and it's easy to roll back and forth on. I would recommend thoroughly checking any rolling chair before you use it, though, because the glass can get scratched by the wrong chair wheel. Hence the 4.5, But otherwise so far, so good.

Packed well. Put over rug and the solid glass me the chair very easy to move on it's rollers. Much better than standard desk matts. Worh the price.

Trust me! You won't regret investing in this glass chair mat for your home. It's beautiful, functional and makes sitting on your rolling chair fun. Great over a rug or hard floor. Packaging was awesome and includes silicone dots to place on the mat's underside. Get rid of that nasty, dirty, cracking plastic mat. This Vitrazza Glass Chair Mat is perfect!

I'd give 5 stars, except for one thing. However, for clarity, perhaps the problem is with my chair - maybe the casters are just too good - but, I think my problem could be fixed with a texture on the top surface of this mat. Basically, my chair, even as I sit in it, refuses to stay put, unless I anchor my feet in the carpet off the edge of the mat, even then I sometimes have to fight to keep my chair centered in front of my laptop. It moves about the mat far too easily. When I get up from my chair, pushing back on the arms of it to stand up sends it rolling off the edge of the mat. Sitting down can cause the same problem; the least movement horizontally sends the chair rolling until I can grab my table to pull myself back in place. Maybe, if I gummed up the bearings on my chair's casters, the problem would be mitigated, but I think that some sort of texture on the top surface of the mat would be a good fix. Or, maybe, some sort of rubberized layer on top, something to provide some friction and keep chairs in place. Is the mat doing its job? Most certainly. It is protecting the carpet like a charm, but it could use some improvements.

This item was packaged very well and it's really nice.

So much easier to roll the chair on and so much more comfortable to step on instead of the plastic mats. And no hard plastic tacks to hurt your hands on when moving it’s position‼️ We love it. Don’t know why it took us so long to purchase one😬

The glass itself is high quality, looks great, and rolls smoothly with an office chair. However, my 36” x 48” mat did not sit flat on my hardwood floor. The entire front portion of the mat was elevated and required additional support to stabilize it. The included Stabil-A-Dot kit also were not sufficient to follow the placement recommendations shown in the instructions. To get the mat level, I had to add my own felt pads under the front edge. The front left and center areas required one felt pad each, while the front right corner required two stacked felt pads because it sat noticeably higher than the rest of the mat. Once supported, the mat works well and provides excellent floor protection, but for a premium-priced product I expected a flatter fit and a more polished out-of-the-box experience.
