Cheap junk.
You get what you pay for.No user manual, no company information, no proof of purchase, and no warranty information or literature of any kind was provided. No speaker wire was included to power the two wired speakers. That’s right — WIRED SPEAKERS WITH NO SPEAKER WIRE. In a world that has largely moved on from the very concept of wired speakers (unless you’re an audiophile), someone decided to make a cheapo sound system utilizing old-fashioned WIRED speakers, and then not supply the purchaser with any speaker wire, nor think to inform the customer at any point that such a thing would not only be necessary but would also need to be acquired separately. Baffling.Fortunately for me, I just happened to find some speaker wire lying around (after tearing my place apart looking for it)…but that was just dumb luck that I had any. I certainly never thought I’d ever use such a thing again in this lifetime. The turntable itself sports a clumsy design of the arm lift lever and the clamp that secures the arm to the pedestal…they practically occupy the same location in space, interfering with one another, violating the Pauli Exclusion Principle. As this item was meant as a gift, I decided to set it up and test it first, just to make sure that it actually worked rather than immediately giving it to its intended recipient and risk being embarrassed when it lived up to its price point and failed to work properly.Predictably, one of the two speakers didn’t work…but again, this being a gift, I wanted to see if I could diagnose and, hopefully, fix the problem myself instead of wasting time re-packaging, returning & re-ordering a replacement on Amazon, waiting for it to get delivered, and then going through this whole routine all over again. After unscrewing and removing the speaker cone from the housing, it took me a matter of seconds to see the problem: disconnected wires, broken solders, and generally shoddy workmanship. There were hastily and haphazardly-applied dollops of glue everywhere, as if done in a big hurry by a blind old man with Parkinson’s.Once I did a little soldering and put the component back together, I was finally able to get the system working and tested a few LPs. The sound quality was about what you’d expect for the price: nothing special. And I’m willing to bet that competing brands in the same price range all use a lot of the same quality parts and workmanship. On the plus side, playback sounded reasonably smooth, and the unit generated quite a bit more volume than I was expecting. So, in conclusion, I was definitely disappointed, though not terribly surprised…I think it says more about the world we live in than anything. It’s a numbers game: LP&No.1 (that company name alone should’ve tipped me off) knew they’d sell a certain number of this mass-produced item, and that a percentage of them would probably fail, and furthermore that a certain percentage of that percentage of disappointed customers would just resign themselves to fixing the problem themselves so they could move on with their lives.Moral of the story: Nobody actually cares.Buy at your own risk.

Nice Look, Nice Sound
The media could not be loaded. When I tried the first record, there were sound distortions and I was a little worried. My second record, same thing. When I tried my third record, (which was clean and in really good shape ) the sound was beautiful (see video). If you were testing this out with records that you have never played before, please make sure the records are clean and in good shape! This record player is simple to set up and easy to use. I have never used a record player before and so this one was just fine for beginners. This is better than the “suitcase style” ones that often have major problems and issues with speed, etc. This record player has a really nice vintage look to it. It’s got a wood and rattan look and nice curves. It’s not solid wood. It appears to be a printed wood-look wrap, probably over particle board, but I had to look very closely to try and see what it was. The turntable is meant to sit next to the speakers, not on top, so it does take up quite a bit of space. This company also sells other styles that are meant to sit on top of the speakers if you need to save space. It can play different style records. It has a switch for 33 RPM (“regular” records), 45 RPM, 78 RPM. This is the speed. It also comes with an adapter ring for playing 45s. You can also use Bluetooth to play from your phone or other device to the speakers.I am not a record “expert” but I have talked to other people who have bad experiences, (right out of the box with “suitcase style” ones) and this one was great!

Delivers A Lot Of Sound
Okay, first things first - if you're an audiophile, this isn't for you (& you should already know that based on the price). That said, I'd consider this a decent product for the price. I'd have given it 5 stars, but IMO, the instructions lack clarity. For example, the stylus cover must be pulled forward to get it off & the instructions simply say "remove stylus cover". Took me a couple minutes trying to pull it down rather than forward - a simple schematic w/ an arrow pointing forward would have been helpful. I imagine some might have trouble connecting the speakers as they use the "old school" bare wire RCA connecter system, something I'm not sure younger folks are familiar with. Also, the latch that holds the tone-arm in place can interfere w/ the lever that raises the tone-arm. For these reasons, I can only give 4 stars. That said - I had the system up & running in less than 15 minutes. Bluetooth connection w/ my iPhone took 2 attempts. It didn't show up on iPhone first attempt, re-started the unit & it then paired quickly.I don't have a lot of vinyl, but the few records I played sounded good. Not high-end audiophile quality, of course, but let's face it: a high-end turntable costs more than this whole unit.Streaming from iPhone sounded good, & I was quite impressed w/ the volume these little speakers put out. Decent enough sound, & no distortion even when cranked to full volume. I have eclectic tastes in music, listened to rock, jazz, solo piano, & acoustic, & they all sounded good. I'd call the sound "accurate" - not bass heavy, a little harsh on the high-end.I'd say this is a decent "entry level" system; it fills a small to medium size room w/ decent sound. I found separating the speakers the full length of the wires gave best results, but that probably depends on the room it's in.The neutral color & low profile make this a visually appealing system w/ nearly any color scheme, IMO. (See photo).Bottom line - while not a "high end" system, I think this would be a good purchase if you're looking for a compact system that delivers a lot of sound at a low price. Would be ideal for a dorm room or small apartment.

Great value record player
Although it's not the BEST turntable out there, you will not find another system that looks this good, works this well, and has even a bit of decent sound. Not a lot of bass, but overall great sound quality. I love the look of it, a nice center piece for our entertainment console.

Low quality
Record would not start spinning until moving the needle 4 or 5 times. Lever to raise the needle arm is also blocked by the locking piece that holds the arm. When record would spin it would often spin too slow. Looks nice and good price but low quality

Good quality just no headphone jack
Good overall quality, decent sound and easy to set up. Only issue is there is no headphone jack for my good headphones. Wireless headphones are not what I like to use.

Garbage
I would leave no stars, but that wasn’t an option. It did arrive on time… I guess. Right out of the box this turntable was so wobbly it would not play a record without skipping. It was a bday gift for my son. Imagine the disappointment when he realized it was garbage and didn’t work… thanks for that.
