Feels like a hug for your feet
I spend at least 8 hours a day at the office, and the first thing I do when I get into my office is change into slippers. The old pair that I had got worn out, so I set out to search for a better pair with a good sole (the older pair was a bit slippery, and I almost went flying quite a few times). After searching and searching, I found these. My criteria: - A solid rubber/non-slip sole - A back lip, so my feet don't slide out easily - Soft cushioning to stay comfortable in all day - All black (this is just a preference, because I prefer a neutral color to slip into with any outfit). I only include this because I found that adding this to my search criteria limited the results significantly. How these slippers turned out: - The sole is thick, solid, and a bit heavy. I actually appreciate the weight on the shoe, because they won't flop around like many other slippers do. - The back lip is just thick enough to hug your feet, but not too thick that it feels uncomfortable. - The cushioning. OH THE CUSHIONING. I slipped my feet into these puppies and I felt like they were hugging my feet like they loved me and wanted the best for me. I have slightly wide feet (skinny overall, but wide from side to side), and these slippers wrapped around my feet just right, without making them feel suffocated or stuffy. A couple of other things to keep in mind: - These slippers are THICK. If your feet get hot easily, these might not be the ones for you. - As many of the other reviews state, these do run a bit small. I wear 8.5 in just about every shoe, but these (I bought the L size) feel like they're just about 2 millimeters too short. I do think that they might fit perfectly over time, though, because the cushioning will form to my feet a bit, and it'll be less puffy than it is, now. Still, given the fact that the large size is for sizes 8.5-9, I'd say that they still do run a little small. I say order one full size up, just to be safe. Overall, even with the size issue (the reason for the one missing star), I do love how they feel and they're exactly what I was looking for! ** EDIT, MONTHS LATER: I am now updating this review, and adding the 5th star. As I had suspected, wearing them around for a bit has molded the cushioning to my feet wonderfully, and the "slightly small" feeling is gone, as the lip on the back of the slipper now cups my heel perfectly. I've worn these shoes almost every day, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, for several months now and I am SO glad that I found them. If my review has helped you in any way, please let me know, or hit "Yes" under this review. Thank you! :)

Quality slippers, but run small*
I bought these slippers on sale for $9.99. I ordered a little bigger size, based on other reviews. I normally were 7.5, but ordered 8.5-9. I have been wearing these for about a week now and at first, they just barely fit around my heel, but now that it has taken the shape of my foot, they fit better. They aren’t the best slippers I’ve ever worn, but for $10, these are a super great deal. They are comfy, but they have flattened out a bit inside after wearing around the house for about a week now. I do wear them A LOT, though, because I’m currently pregnant and the extra weight puts more pressure on my feet. The quality is great, too. These are made well. We have a puppy who likes to chew on slippers and you can’t even tell that he’s gotten a hold of my slippers several times already. There are no loose threads or anything. They also have a nonslip feeling to the bottom. It’s about 20 degrees outside and my house doesn’t have carpet, except in the bedrooms, and I have caught myself forgetting to wear socks because my slippers keep my feet nice and warm. It’s too soon to tell, but even if these only last me 3 months, I’ll buy the same pair again if I can get them for $10 again. If they last 6 months, I’m ok with paying full price.

Buy next size up - or more!
They look great and feel great. The memory foam is very comfy! However, they do run small. This is my second pair - I usually wear an 8 or 8 1/2 - I had to give those away because I ran the back of the slipper down, not being able to fit completely into the slipper. So, this time I bought a 9-10. Wellllll, they BARELY fit. I am keeping them, because I can get them on. I just make sure to push my foot in as far as I can. That does seem to be working. This pair are keepers.

Size 9-10 is larger than 9.5-10
I’m on my 10th pair. I replace every 4 or 5 months because they stretch out over time, but I’m wearing them constantly due to plantar fasciitis. They are cheap and comfortable. They are so tight that they hurt my feet a bit for the first day, but they stretch to perfect quickly. It seems counterintuitive, but the size 9-10 is slightly larger than the 9.5-10, which I always forget when I’m ordering the cheapest color. The pictures show my old 9-10 sized evening sand (purchased 4/26) in comparison to the new 9.5-10 sized ash (purchased 8/26). Also the tread is different, but not important. They are very durable- when I’m not home my dog carries them around as her emotional support slippers :)

Seams broken
I got there to replace a pair I was gifted when I was much younger and lasted me a long, long time. I fear within 2 months of having these, they are falling apart at the seams, literally. They have good traction, look nice, and are very comfy but the quality of them is not as good as it used to be. I only use mine indoors as I have indoor and outdoor shoes, so they do not get roughed up as outdoor shoes do. Really wish they would hold together better for the cost😓

You may want to order a size up. I ordered what was suggested. Wish I had gone a size larger.
Very comfortable slippers. These will be great when the cold weather sets in.

EDIT: while I had caveats before, I kept reordering HOWEVER
DEC 2024 - I first started getting these years ago. NO memory foam slipper I have gotten stays thick and comfy long. Memory foam seems to have short term memory. But for going in and out for mail, better than barefoot. My big complaint now is I HAVE ALWAYS been able to wear the 8.5-9, I still can in other brands. NOW even though I am still an 8.5, the 9.5-10, the largest size is just right. NOT too big. MAYBE if you have VERY narrow feet (mine are pretty narrow) you might be able to get your closest size, but if you have average or even moderately wide feet, you may have a problem. I gave the 8.5-9 pair to my neighbor who wears an 8, she couldn't even get her foot into it. CAVEAT EMPTOR _________________________________________ July 2024 - I've been wearing slip on Skechers, have three pair, basically every day, just rotate. More support than a slipper. But lately, I have wanted to just have a pair of slippers around when I don't want to be barefoot, but don't even want my comfy Skechers on. ESP great on sale! FYI, the memory foam, well, that goes the first day, but still better than barefoot and I like they're black. _________________________________ Even though some cons, I gave these slippers five stars because they're basically like the other styles of isotoners re fit and feel I've gotten. PROS: SIZE - I wear an 8.5 and get the 8.5-9. They stretch a little so after wearing a day or two, they fit fine even with a lightweight sock. COLOR - I LOVE these came in black. Black always looks dressier, doesn't show dirt, so when I take my dog out, they don't get dirty looking. I also wear black sweats, so matches. BOTTOMS - Yes, kind of non skid, but don't count on it if you're on ice or anything slippery. If the drive is damp, light rain, no I don't slip. STYLE - I really like this style better than others I have worn. CONS: OK, this is true WITH EVERY pair of non skid, indoor outdoor slippers I've gotten, the memory foam is kind of a joke. Within a day it feels like lumpy pillow stuffing and not thick or supportive. I mean it's not like there's NO stuffing, but memory foam? Supportive? Not so much. But fine for what I use them for, getting mail, taking dog out to yard, stuff like that. Also fine for inside when feet are cold.

Comfort that actually helps!
These slippers have been a game changer for my plantar fasciitis. They give just the right amount of support and cushioning—enough that I can walk around the house without my heels flaring up. The fit is snug but comfortable, and the memory foam molds nicely to my feet. They also stay on well thanks to the hoodback design, and the sole is sturdy enough to step outside for a minute without worry. I’ve tried plenty of slippers over the years, but these are by far the most comfortable and supportive. Highly recommend for anyone who deals with foot pain or just wants cozy, reliable house shoes!

Not True to Size
I am a perfect size 8 and I ordered 8.5-9 and the slippers are way too small. I tried to return them but the cost was $24.00 and not worth the cost to return...that's where they get you! I will not buy from this seller again. Very dissatisfied.
