been almost a year. still on the same set of batteries. Only issue is that it loosens a bit and needs tightening now and then. Maybe it's just me? Sometimes the lock gets stuck on my latch and needs adjusting. If I don't have a key on my then I would be afraid of not being able to get back inside. (as the lock won't retract because it is stuck. It needs a clear and concise door to latch connection.. almost not able to get into my home a couple times. I would definitely not set it on automatic lock. It does have lots of settings like a 1 time use code for maybe people visiting while you area away. and you can set several codes. I would always kkeep a set of keys on my inside I get locked out and know the key will always work.

I've had this deadbolt for a few weeks now and I'm happy. Let me be frank, it's a basic lock run on 4 aa batteries. It's easy to install and looks good. No wi-fi or Bluetooth to make this overwhelming, just plain and simple keyless entry. It's just what I wanted. The style did not match the knob-set I had but close enough that only I know. Only time will tell how long the letters on the keypad start to wear out from me punching in the same code every time. Maybe I should use all numbers in my code to have even wear. Hey it's only a lock. So I like this and gave it 5 stars because it is basic and it works. I recommend this lock based on the ease and simplicity.

In my old house, I had a Powerbolt 1000. Wanted similar (same) for new house. Could not find the older version, so I needed to purchase this Version. Not very different, but a little. Installed on Front door, and now on back door and Garage. Just need to take batteries out of Garage for winter, as it is unheated space.

Very hard to find this item in stores, functions well and looks great. Well priced. Easy to use, keys included. You need to make sure the batteries are replaced often, same as any electronic lock. I highly recommend, Amazon’s the best for all the variety of items they offer we buyers online!
