Is the base game required to play Azul: Queen's Garden?

No, every different version of Azul is an entirely independent game. You don't need to have the original to play any of the others. 😊

Anybody Colorblind successfully played this game? Please and thank you

I am colorblind and have played other Azuls. Not specifically this one and never had a problem. There are different symbols on each color that you can use instead of purely color. Not sure if that holds true for this obe but has been in every other version.
